We stayed over the 2016/2017 New Year's weekend and were delighted. The convenience is undeniable and everyone enjoyed the accommodations. Given the time of year, being on the boardwalk was no issue in terms of noise level. We have stayed in similar properties in years past during the summer and decided it was too busy on the boardwalk, especially at night. All in all, I would recommend this unit during off peak times. You will be pleased with the easy access it affords.

The house was great! Clean, beautifully furnished and amazing location. We were blessed with beautiful weather. The convenience of being so close to the beach and the boardwalk was perfect.

The only problem was the billing: I paid up front with VRBO but the resort wanted my credit card for incidentals when I checked in. They ended up charging for the stay as well so I've paid twice. I just called VRBO (11:50 am ET on January 3). Danielle was my CSR: she was rude, combative and unwilling to transfer me to her manager. Based on this customer experience, I will think twice before using VRBO again.

4 stars because the house was large enough to accommodate mine and my husband's families (10 people) for Thanksgiving without much difficulty, 2 more people could have stayed to occupy every bed space. Plenty of space and excellent location. Having a washer/dryer in the house was super convenient, some detergent was provided. It was so easy for us to just walk a few steps down the boardwalk to the beach, lounge by the pool, or walk back to the Boardwalk Inn to sit by the fires in the evenings. We had our Thanksgiving dinner catered, but I think the kitchen would have been a little small to make such a large dinner, though it was perfectly adequate for the rest of our (less elaborate!) meals. Lost 1 star because several things were broken in the house when we got there: a light bulb was falling/hanging out of the chandelier over the table (safety risk!) and the ottomans in the living room were broken. I think there were a few other things that my husband handled and I didn't even notice. However, the management sent someone down to fix what they could within a few minutes of our arrival, so it didn't really affect our stay. Also, we were supposed to receive an access code and skip the check-in desk but we never got the code so we still had to check in at the desk, also didn't really affect our stay, but just a note that everything was not exactly as expected. We would definitely choose this house again for another holiday with our families!
