About the owner: Jonathan is a master woodworker/furniture maker and jazz musician. His many talents help us to furnish and restore the home. To see some of his work, google him (The Building Arts Co). He's also runs The Fret Shop at 30 S Braddock St - that repairs, sells and consigns fretted instruments (from guitars to dulcimers.) Justine works for the local public school system helping to support kids and families. Our family loves history and being outdoors - our vacations often feature trips to National Parks and historic sites. We live in a restored farmhouse outside of Winchester with our dog, cats and some chickens.
Why the Owner Chose Winchester, VA, USA:
We love old historic homes and purchased this house from friends. Although we live in the country, we appreciate the time we spend at this house in Winchester - what a treat to be able to walk to restaurants, parks, concerts or so much more.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Even though you're staying right in the historic district, right 'downtown' the house is quiet and the yard has been described as an oasis. Lots of our guests are so happy to be able to arrive, park their car and walk everywhere they want to go for the entire stary.
