The house is totally private, and has a wonderful views down its own valley both from the superb heated pool and the first floor deck.
Despite it's private location, it's only a few minutes from a parade of shops and Intermarche.
Najac itself has a marvellous chateau on a hill, overlooking the surrounding region, and is about equidistant from Montauban, Albi, Rodez and Cahors in this special part of SW France. It's at the west of the Aveyron on the border with the departments of Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne. The Aveyron has 10 of these "most beautiful villages" more than any other department in France. Najac is also a "Grand Site" of the Aveyron with renowned gastronomy and boasts many restaurants, two of which are Michelin listed. The Daily Telegraph lists the Najac area as one of the top 20 places in France. It's in the foothills linking the Languedoc to the Massif Central, which is green from the winter rainfall but with has the long dry spells of the Languedoc in summer. There are many outdoor activities locally, such as mountain biking, horse riding, climbing on frames and ropes, trekking, canoeing and rafting.
