About Geoff & Aurelia
2 world travelers who welcome the world to come to us.
Geoff & Aurelia purchased this Apartment in 2014
Why Geoff & Aurelia chose Manhattan
Manhattan is very expensive, and if you want to actually own the land (and not just rent an apartment over which you have no control), your choices are limited. This is a very quiet area, mostly filled with older Italian couples, and with easy access to the highways and subways, makes it easy to get around the city, and we're still in Manhattan, the best part of NYC. We also feel that with the construction of the 2nd avenue subway line, this area will start to move up in price, and we needed to buy before that happened.
What makes this Apartment unique
This house is intended to be a base of operation for exploring NYC. 7 Blocks from Central Park, we both enjoy biking around the great circle. After a day of exploring the city (Museum Mile is very close by), this house offers a quiet place to retreat to, without leaving Manhattan. The local public pool offers free swimming during weekday mornings in the summer, and so we're both swimming for 30 mins before going to work.
