About Kristen Schuchmann
My sister and I purchased this property from our dad and uncles. The three of them had owned it since the early 1980's and our family had many wonderful memories of our times at "the beach house". As they grew older and wanted to sell, we decided we weren't ready for it to leave the family. We've had some yearly renters that continue to come back and build their own memories.
Kristen Schuchmann purchased this Cottage in 2010
What makes this Cottage unique
This property is all about the beach and the beautiful neighborhood. Many renters find their way to the local attractions, such as Cedar Point, but that may only be for a day. The majority of time is spent on the beach, enjoying the sand or sitting on the front patio relaxing.

Cute little cottage
Everything was good we had a nice stay
As advertised, Home away from Home
We look forward to returning, all our expectations and needs were met. It would be nice to have a fire pit, but other than that it was a great retreat.
Cozy and close to the beach
We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was so close to the beach that it is only a very short walk away. It is the nicest beach on Lake Erie I have ever been at. Sandy beach and no beach shoes needed in the water because of the sandy bottom. I didn’t want or care about internet connection so I didn’t mind having no WiFi. The backyard is very nice to spend time outside. It’s a quiet neighborhood. We look forward to coming back to the cottage again.
This was a quaint, clean house in a nice quiet neighborhood.
Was a wonderful vacation
Was very nice loved the location and the house. Was stocked with just about everything you could possibly want. Had a great backyard with fence. The only thing I can say bad was both full mattresses needed to be replaced was hard sleeping on them and the kitchen sink leaked. But I would sure recommend this little house to anybody that was going up to Huron.
Clean little cottage. Plenty of room for everyone. Bonus to have internet service. We all agreed we would come back again.
Cedar Point and water parks are minutes away, access to Huron fishing pier, golf courses include Thunderbird Hills and Sawmill Creek, ferries to the islands are 25 minutes away.
