This is a low density, family oriented complex located directly on the beach in the heart of Gulf Shores. This is Alabama’s original beach town (Small Town Big Beach) and has been a beloved spot for families to gather for many years. My family and I have vacationed here for many years also. Enjoy the family fun entertainment, unique shopping, great food and especially the white sand beach and emerald waters.

NEW KING SIZE BED and MATTRESS, NEW GRANITE COUNTERTOPS in kitchen and baths and NEW FLOORING throughout. NEW QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA, NEW TV console and end tables. KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM, no hassle with keys on the beach. This keeps you from having to stop to obtain a key before arriving. Two beach chairs are provided for the unit. Don’t forget your beach towels!

Tropic Isles 702 is a one bedroom, one and a half bath unit which also has bunk beds in the hall and a queen sleeper sofa. The condo can sleep 6 comfortably. There is a pocket door to provide privacy to the bunks and bed room from the kitchen and living room area for additional sleeping pleasure while others may stay up later. A washer and dryer is also in the unit. The large private balcony is a direct gulf view offering a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. Wake up early to view the sunrise and dolphins or watch the sunset or just plain beach watching. The unit is centrally located within walking distance of the 'T' at Highway 59, The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub, many of the dining establishments, downtown festivals and shopping. It's only minutes to the Gulf State Pier, the many amusement parks, Flora-Bama, The Wharf and Amphitheater, zoo, golf courses, marinas, Perdido Pass, jetties, nature trails, Fort Morgan, ferry to Dauphin Island, dolphin tours, para-sailing, library, museum and other attractions. It is also just a short drive North to OWA, the Outlet Mall or Train Museum in Foley.

This complex has a heated outdoor pool, grilling area with charcoal grills, very short walk to the beach, covered unloading and loading area, limited handicapped parking, ample carts, buggies and elevator. This complex only has 40 units so less people to share the pool and beach with! The building is clean and up to date.

To the east of Gulf Shores, it is a 45 minute drive to Pensacola, Florida where you may visit the Naval Air Station (home of the Blue Angels), the Naval Flight Museum and the Pensacola Greyhound Dog Track. A one-hour drive west brings you to Mobile Bay where the USS Alabama is docked. The Casinos in Biloxi, Mississippi are located a short drive west of Mobile.

About Troy and Amy

We are born and raised in Louisiana just a short distance from New Orleans. This is a small town, one red light and one Mc Donald's. We have always loved the outdoors and being on the water. Many of our vacations were taken in Gulf Shores. We purchased a beach house on West Lagoon Ave. in 2012. We have made many friends here in Gulf Shores and use to spend a week or two a month here. We have taught many of our friends how to boil seafood and eat it like we do back in Louisiana.

In June 2017 we sold our Louisiana home and now reside in Gulf Shores. We love it here.

Great location for all festivals. Low density complex, uncrowded beach and heated pool. This is the type of place that we would stay while vacationing in Gulf Shores.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit we rented was very clean, well appointed and well taken care of. The owners kept in contact with us to make sure everything was ready for our arrival. I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning to visit Gulf Shores.

Clean, convenient, beautiful view!

We enjoyed our weekend stay! My husband and I were not ready to come home at all. The condo is super clean and smells clean the moment you walk in. It was a very convenient walk to the hangout, awesome restaurants, and shops. The view was beautiful. We were so satisfied with our stay and and we will for sure be back!

Once again beautiful!

This was my family’s 2nd time staying at Tropic Isles 702. Once again Troy, Amy and the Condo were awesome. Nice, clean, quite and relaxing. Amazing location with easy walking distance to the Hangout as well as many other restaurants and shops. My 8 yr old daughter really enjoys the heated pool as spring break weather can be hit or miss most days. We love the place and Gulf Shores. We will definitely be back.

The pictures are true to what you will find when you walk thru the door. The condo is decorated unlike most rentals I have stayed which was so refreshing! The bed in the master bedroom is very comfy too. The owners are very attentive should you need something. We definitely want to book another stay and hopefully soon! Thanks Troy and Amy for sharing your condo.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
