2 bedroom accommodation in Hebden, near Skipton
First holiday in a cottage but was very impressed with everything about the cottage - photos do not do the cottage justice - will be recommending to family and friends
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no complaints. Everything was in good order and when we had a problem with a damaged key the owner responded very quickly. Have already recommended the cottage to friends
A great place to relax.
A great place to relax. Warm, cosy, a log fire. Well presented. The directions were excellent, even arriving in the dark. Saw 5 people, two dogs, a horse that comes up to the window and four chickens in the field behind. Dramatic landscape from the lounge window. Skipton 10 miles and Grassington 1mile nearby. Skipton, an old market town, has a fabulous Fish and Chip restaurant with high standards, near to the main car park. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants and even a Castle. Well worth a visit. Fabulous cottage, even better than expected, clearly well cared for by the owner.
Fabulous cottage, even better than expected, clearly well cared for by the owner. Stayed for a weekend in March as a family of 4, children age 13 and 10. Felt very homely, attention to detail makes all the difference with little extras such as torches, board games, instructions for appliances, even handy signs on light switches and local tourist/walk info and maps, all very well thought out. Lovely and clean, would highly recommend. Shower is amazing. An added bonus with the horses and chickens at such close proximity through the lounge and kitchen windows. Very peaceful, great scenery. Everything you could need provided, a real credit to the owner.
Great cottage in a great location.
Great cottage in a great location. Quiet, but not too far from a good road to get out and about. Lovely walks from the door and a splendid view. Cottage clean and comfortable, everything was provided that we needed.
Gorgeous, cosy, clean cottage, photos don't do it justice.
Gorgeous, cosy, clean cottage, photos don't do it justice. Everything you need, including laundry facilities, you don't need to take much at all. Although the cottage is extremely comfy we would have found it better if there had been an additional sofa for a family of 4 rather than the two chairs, however this is the only critism we could think of, it doesn't spoil the cottage at all. Our children were so happy to be greeted by two lovely horses in the morning! Great for walks, we walked to Grassington and Burnsall and both were lovely and suitable for our young children.
Enjoyed the Old School Cafe in Hebden itself!
Would definitely recommend this cottage to others.
