This home was fully remodeled in 2016 and features tray ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, a large stone wood burning fireplace, an open floor plan with an abundance of windows that provide spectacular views from all sides. The updated gourmet kitchen features granite counters, all new stainless appliances and cabinetry and is fully-stocked for meal preparation. Bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with luxury towels and linens to make you feel completely pampered during your stay.

The master bedroom suite is outfitted with a king-sized bed, a large closet, and a separate living area with TV and desk. It has its own remodeled bathroom and a deck view of Buffalo Mountain. The bottom floor features two separate bedrooms each with queen-sized beds and sitting areas with flat screen TVs. The fourth bedroom is our bunk room, with two sets of bunk beds that both kids and adults will find quite comfortable. The home can comfortably accommodate 10 people.

Beautiful but noisy

  • 2 of 5

Beautiful house but the pipes popping so loud every night was not an enjoyable experience for us. We could not sleep

Owner's Response: We are so sorry your stay with us was not what you had hoped. Most of the homes in Colorado use the same type of heat and pipes we have in our home and unfortunately, the noise you describe is common for such systems. We have not received any previous complaints regarding this, but we will definitely raise your concern with our maintenance company to see if there is anything that can be done to buffer the noise a bit. Thank you for choosing to stay with us.

What a great week! Our family was able to spend time together in this beautiful updated mountain home. Every detail was taken care of and we just moved in.

The deck, with the awesome mountain view, was so peaceful for morning coffee and gorgeous evening sunsets.

We biked, Fresco to Dillion and back, and had lunch on the marina at the Tiki Bar.

Most of us hiked to the Lily Pad while the adventurous climbed Buffalo Mountain. Our son-in-law biked up Swan Mountain and we took the grandgals to Sapphire Point to feed the chipmunks. ( Don't forget the Sunflower Seeds.) We loved exploring the national forest, right outside the door.

We relaxed and enjoyed your mountain home! We look forward to the next time!

Thanks for the memories!

Perfect view and Perfect home.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this home for 3 nights and it was amazing. The home is very nice and welcoming, has a nice fireplace and the view is simply amazing. There was 8 of us and we had plenty of space for everyone.

The Kitchen was nice and new and had pots and pans for our use. We did not go out for dinner once while staying in CO, made all of our meals from this home and each meal was great. The only compliant we would have is the grill outside, we used it only once and it got really smoky. I think the inside of the grill needs a good cleaning, but if that is the only complaint I have than this place deserves the 5 stars.

Behind the deck is a hiking trail that we went on our second day here. We did not have to drive anywhere to get to a good trail with great views for a nice hike.

Everything about this place is great. You have to see it for your self. This place can easily accommodate a family reunion or friends getting together. The town is close by for any food/beer runs you need to make, and would have anything you would want. We visit breweries while out there.

To long didn't read version;

You will not be disappointed with this location.

Fantastic property in an amazing location with appointments that pleased and accommodated everyone!

  • 5 of 5

It's rare that everyone in an extended family group reaches consensus: however, Lone Star Ranch provided that unique opportunity! From the location to the layout and furnishings, all agreed this was a fantastic location for our family get-together! With spectacular views, close-up visits from local wildlife and proximity to hiking trails that meet the needs of a full range of abilities and interests, all agreed that Lone Star is place we hope to visit again. We were all captivated by Mom Moose and her 2 young calves who visited daily to enjoy the apparently tasty Aspen and a beautiful male fox who slid through the rear of the property promptly at 4:30 each afternoon. Kitchen facilities more than met the needs of our "cooks" and the HUGE bin of Legos was a welcome diversion for our 2 little boys during the few afternoon showers.

Thank you - we hope to visit again!

Possibly the best Homeaway Property

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for a month for our 5-person family. Everything about it was excellent because everything is new and all the furnishings are very upscale. The internet service was very good. The cell service was very good (for those of us who have to work on "vacation"). It's very quiet, and the neighbors are never around! Silverthorne is very nice, close to everything, and has all the conveniences. With Frisco and Dillon near by, there is no need to drive more than 10 minutes or any amenities.

You will definitely enjoy your stay here!
