Why Sue Fitzgerald chose Sugar Mountain
All throughout my life I have traveled through or around the Blue Ridge Mountains to visit family. A friend owned our condo and invited us to come fora weekend. That was our first trip to Sugar Mountain. We enjoyed our stay and the area. Our friend offered for us to buy, and we took him up on it. We consider this property a blessing.

This was a cozy place to enjoy with your four legged children.
conveniently located near Boone and blowing rock
we were in quite a pinch trying to evacuate from wilmington especially with a cat and kitten in tow, luckily we were accommodated at hemlock nob. it was a perfect little getaway that made our emergency evacuation seem more like a vacation. the condo was very well maintained and was even stocked with cooking utensils! we would most definitely stay here again!
Anniversary Get Away
We stayed for our 5 year anniversary and it was just what we needed. It was quiet and just the amount of space that we needed.
My friend and I stayed at this location to attend a function at Grandfather Mountain and it was exactly what we needed. The condo was very clean, right size and centrally located to everything we needed. We got to sleep with the windows open and was very comfortable. We will plan to stay here again. Sue was great to work with and very prompt in her responses and I appreciate that effort. Thanks again.
Glad you enjoyed your stay with us and come again soon!
Overall the condo is a very nice place and very cozy! Enjoyed the stay!
Cozy condo which feels like a cabin on sugar mountain!
A nice quiet get away near Banner Elk and Boone too. Having gone in July to beat the heat & the crowds at the beach this cozy cottage / condo fit our needs. The owner did not charge higher rates to bring our dog. Great price value
Hemlock Heaven is a condo on Sugar Mountain which is a ski resort. The ski slopes are a short walk from the condo. However, it is beautiful all year around. The fall leaves are magnificent. There are several festivals to go to, especially in the fall. There is a Farmer's market in nearby Banner Elk. There are many walking or hiking paths in the area, good fishing, kayaking, gem mining, a local lake beach, and many good restaurants. It is close to Grandfather Mountain, Appalachian State University, and Tootsie Railroad. If you are a shopper, there are many antique shops and flea markets.
