Why Sue Fitzgerald chose Sugar Mountain
All throughout my life I have traveled through or around the Blue Ridge Mountains to visit family. A friend owned our condo and invited us to come for a weekend. That was our first trip to Sugar Mountain. We enjoyed our stay and the area. Our friend offered for us to buy, and we took him up on it. We consider this property a blessing.

Perfect mountain retreat for our weekend getaway. Location is ideal! Our family and fur baby enjoyed our stay here. We will be back.
we enjoyed our stay the only problem we had was weather
the property was fine and would stay again
We enjoyed our stay at Sugar Mountain. It was a older property but very nice and clean. Nice central location and would stay here again.
We hope you enjoyed the kitchen upgrades and we look forward to your next visit!
Peaceful and convenient to everything the area has to offer
Checks all the boxes
Comfortable place to spend the weekend. We enjoyed coffee on the porch looking out at the trees and looking at the birds.
Hemlock Heaven is a condo on Sugar Mountain which is a ski resort. The ski slopes are a short walk from the condo. However, it is beautiful all year around. The fall leaves are magnificent. There are several festivals to go to, especially in the fall. There is a Farmer's market in nearby Banner Elk. There are many walking or hiking paths in the area, good fishing, kayaking, gem mining, a local lake beach, and many good restaurants. It is close to Grandfather Mountain, Appalachian State University, and Tootsie Railroad. If you are a shopper, there are many antique shops and flea markets.
