About Jim Meyn
We have summered in this lovely cottage with our 2 girls since 2007 and have only recently opened up the home to others as our girls have aged out of our home. Although modest, this cottage offers everything you will need to enjoy the bounty and beauty of mid-coast Maine.
Jim Meyn purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why Jim Meyn chose Friendship
Ideally located in mid-coast Maine with quick access to major nearby towns but isolated and rural to enjoy the dark and quiet of Maine. Pets are welcome which can make vacation travelling that much better.

Great little cottage
This cottage had all the basics we needed for our visit. The owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for our stay! Maybe the only drawback was no cable TV. Overall, I would have no problem recommendating this cottage.
great stay at this lil house on the prairie
charming little cottage. clean and very comfortable. definitely a home away from homw.
A great little getaway!
My friends and I booked this accommodation for a friend's local wedding. The cottage was perfect for our needs and was even bigger than we expected. Their three season porch was perfect for everyone to hang out in, and we loved the field out back too! Thanks for having us :)
We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the kind review.
The cottage was perfect for our group. Jim was very accommodating and responsive to all of our needs!
A Happy Place
A simple home, styled with functional minimalism, yet cheerful, colorful and comfortable. My husband and I stayed at 7 different Maine cottage rentals this summer (we got off to a late start with booking!) and the “little house in a sea of grass” was my favorite. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided a notebook full of good tips for local explorations. We appreciate that they are dog-friendly. Our pup had a blast running circles in the big back yard. I highly recommend this home!
Thank you for the very kind review, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay!
Clean, Cozy, and quaint
We enjoyed our stay at "The Little House" it was quiet and cozy with beautiful grounds to admire and a great sunroom to socialize in and do some research as my friend and I attended the annual Owl's Head Transportation Museum antique and classic car auction, as it turned out we bought a gorgeous 1956 Lincoln Continental thanks to Jim and Wendy our trip was a success, hope to stay again next year.
