Charming Cabin w/ Hot Tub and Located Nicely on the Desirable West Side of Lake
New Hot Tub, New Brazilian Hardwood Deck, Pine Interior, Euro-Feel, 2 B, 2 ba, Cute with Well-stocked, Small Kitchen.
We are in a nice neighborhood with fulltime, working neighbors. There is a Sheriff-enforced 10:30 pm noise curfew ordinance. Reasonable conservative use of the hot tub before 10:30 and definitely quiet after 10:30 pm. Violations will result in significant security deposit loss. If you intend to be loud, please find another place to stay.
2 bedrooms upstairs have Queen beds. Downstairs couch pulls out into a full bed with sheets and bedding. Max 6 people, 4 in bedrooms.
All pine walls and unique wood railings. Warm and cozy with propane stove heating. Easy Nest self-learning thermostat controls. Able to heat even in power outage.
Kitchen has stove, oven, basic coffee maker, toaster, electric griddle, many pots, pans, plateware and flatware.
Outdoor activities are endless. SUP or Kayak the lake or up the inlet of the N Fk of the Payette just a few miles up the road. We love Cheap Thrills for JetSki or boat or snowmobile rentals. Hike the Bear Basin right up the hill from our place, or Ponderosa St Park, or Brundage Mtn Resort, or summit any number of cool peaks in the area. Biking, tennis, disk golf, bocce, golf, basketball all nearby and public as well.
Winter activity also tremendous. The snowmobile jump off is not far up Warren Wagon road and there is ample parking in between us and the neighbors to fit a trailer (90% all our space.) Alpine at Brundage Mtn (Best Snow in Idaho!) or Little Ski Hill or down to Tamarack. Nordic in Bear Basin or Ponderosa and elsewhere. Year round ice skating at the Manchester Ice Rink. Inner tubing with a lift at the Activity Barn just south of the airport a mile.
You'll be surprised at the number and quality of restaurants in McCall. And if you just have to have a woodburning fire - head to the lobby at the Shore Lodge, sit under the moose, warm your bones and read or cuddle right there. Always open and hot and cold libations in the next room over.
Come to McCall and enjoy life elevated!

Our family loves coming to the cozy little cabin to reconnect and unwind.
Cozy Cabin is true to its name!
Our family of 4 has thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. We have rented it for multiple weekends and the space is perfect for us during our weekend getaways.
Great little cabin! We can’t wait to come back!
We had fun making a snowman, playing games, and sitting in the hot tub!
Cute cabin, close to town
This is a really nice cabin. When you arrive it looks so tiny from the outside but inside is so cute.
They even had a pack n play and the most amazing kid toys. The adults played with the trucks and tools too.
We had two toddlers so the stairs were a challenge but we put a chair across the bottom and that worked.
The hot tub was really nice. Comfortable beds. Grill worked great.
Decor in the house is Ikea style and looks nice.
We had a good time!
Thank you and we are glad you made it to the McCall Lemonwood Cabin Getaway! You are welcome back anytime!
Nice Cozy Weekend Retreat
We very much enjoyed our weekend stay in this cozy little cabin. Quiet setting with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Dave was very responsive to any needs or requests. Thanks Dave and Satu for making it available to us.
Glad you found the Lemonwood Getaway Cabin Retreat in McCall. Come again!
A Hidden Gem
This is a great little cabin tucked into the woods within walking distance of the lake. This was our first trip to Western Idaho, but will not be the last. Some of my group will be back in a couple weeks.
During our stay we got to see the Great American Eclipse. The cabin was close to Cascade where we watched the Eclipse on the morning of August 21st. On the way back to the cabin we visited Gold Fork Hot Springs for a relaxing afternoon. We paddleboarded on the lake, enjoyed two different beaches and several McCall restaurants. The Ice Cream Cones are a highlight, rocky road piled to the sky. We used the kitchen for a couple breakfasts and dinners and enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub. The visit to Lake Payette would not be complete without hiking or driving to the end of the peninsula for a scenic view of the lake.
Some of our group went for a run and ended up in the middle of the triathlon August 20th. The volunteers offered water even though they were not racing. McCall is a beautiful place with a very hometown feel.
Thanks Kelly. Glad you loved the Lemonwood Getaway Cabin of McCall as much as we do! Yes, Ice Cream Alley, Ponderosa State Park and nearby Payette Lake beaches at Rotary Park and North shore are all terrific.
Beautiful location just 1 mile from the intersection of Hwy 55 and Warren Wagon Rd, the location of The Shore Lodge. Just next to the Shore Lodge is Rotary Park Beach and playground for the nearest public access beach. There is a tiny public access to the lake at the foot of Yew Wood St just 400 yards away, but only 12 ft wide with no beach - Room to put in a kayak or canoe or SUP if you wish.
Another public access beach is at the Payette River North Fork inlet to the lake, just 5.7 miles north on Warren Wagon Road. The Ponderosa State Park North Beach (beautiful and less crowded) is also near there.
Downtown is just another mile past Rotary Park with restaurants, ice-skating rink, pottery studio (drop-in), bocce ball, bars, marina, boat rentals, jet skis and more.
Continue on to Ponderosa State Park for beaches and hikes in the summer and nordic activity in the winter.
