Leave your car and your cares at the marina because Little Gasparilla is accessible only by water taxi! That means our beaches are uncrowded and tourists and traffic are just a mainland memory. If you are looking for a quiet tropical island to relax and unplug, Little Gasparilla is your dream vacation spot. Our "nightlife" consists of giant sea turtles laying their eggs -- our only bar is the sand bar where you can find sand dollars and shells!

This stunning property combines the best of both worlds on Little Gasparilla....the thrill of beachfront living with the convenience and great fishing that your own private dock on the bay affords you. This unique gulf-to-bay property offers a truly one-of-a kind vacation experience. From the white sandy beach on the bay side of the island, with views of Bird Key and the Boca Grande Bridge to the pristine beach on the Gulf of Mexico, this property gives you as much beach as you could possibly want. Your private dock offers plenty of room to dock two to three boats. And the fishing off the dock is quite simply spectacular. The owners also include the use of three kayaks to explore the bay. Please note that this home is not on the island pathways and therefore is NOT ACCESSIBLE BY GOLF CART.

The property affords a large yard and so much privacy that you and your family can spread out and enjoy the naturally landscaped grounds.

The house offers views of the bay from the screened porch and views of the gulf from the living room....again, the best of both worlds! The open concept kitchen/living/dining area is casual and comfortable and decorated in beachy vintage bamboo furniture. The master bedroom features a king size bed and views of the ocean...the second bedroom has three twins.

A separate downstairs bonus room is also available if you need extra room or anticipate extra guests...the bonus room has an extra bathroom, extra kitchen, two twins and a queen size sofa sleeper. It also has an additional flatscreen TV.

There is a natural sandy pathway leading to the beach which is rich with shells and shark's teeth, an abundance of shorebirds, natural tide pools and gentle waves. Little Gasparilla's beaches are among the most beautiful in Florida and are never crowded. Shelling at the south end of the island is always rewarding, especially if you head out immediately after your morning coffee!

This unique property offers a taste of old Florida in a beautiful, natural setting....the beach the way it used to be before seawalls and highrises became the norm. Bring your family to this "Island Paradise" and enjoy the best of both worlds in this beach to bay setting!

ANSWERS TO LITTLE GASPARILLA FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...PLEASE READ!

• You cannot drive your car to the island and the only access is via water taxi; there is no vehicle ferry.

• You must park your car at the marina at the mainland but it will be perfectly safe there; parking is $6 a day.

• The water taxi is $10 per person each way and he will drop you right at our dock.

• All homes come with a grill.

• All homes come with beach chairs and an umbrella.

• You must bring all groceries to the island with you.

• There are no stores of any kind on the island, not even a convenience store.

• There is no need to bring drinking water; the water from the tap is safe and drinkable.

• There are first responders on the island and we have 911 service in case of an emergency.

• You can fish off the dock or the beach but non-Florida residents will need to purchase a fishing license.

• If you have requested use of a mobile hotspot, keep in mind this is NOT the internet you are used to on the mainland. There is no unlimited data and wi-fi is NOT for entertainment. No Netflix, no skyping, no streaming music, no downloading videos, etc. Many people find the mobile hotspots on their smartphones are better alternatives.

We enjoyed our time at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was nice and clean. The extra outdoor amenities made the stay more enjoyable. easy access to both the beach and the dock. Nice quiet area, perfect for relaxation.

Beautiful and relaxing

It was just my husband and I and we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation. We played a nice game of risk. :-) It was nice seeing the water from both balconies and the nice, large front porch was nice to chillax on. The taxi guy was a little gruff (pirate's taxi)...but that is not the houses fault. :-)

Perfect spot for our family

We loved this property and plan on returning annually if not more often. It is on the more isolated side of the island which is exactly what we were looking for. My husband spent his days fishing and my girls spent their days playing in the sand and looking for the dolphins that can be seen all day long around the docks. We loved it so much we extended our stay! We look forward to coming back to paradise soon!
