Quintessential Waterfront Home in Seaside Park, New Jersey
About Leah R
We're a young family, who split our time between Manhattan and Seaside Park. We grew up going to the Jersey Shore and bought this house so our son could do the same.
Leah R purchased this House in 2016
Why Leah R chose Seaside Park
The second we walked into this house last year, we fell in love. We knew the 75-year-old home needed some updating, so we spent six months renovating it—without sacrificing an ounce of charm! The update and prime location makes vacationing 100-percent relaxing. The furnishings embody comfort—and you can get to most everything by walking or biking. And the sunsets on the bay? Magnificent! You will fully enjoy this true gem of the Jersey Shore.
What makes this House unique

We all loved being in the house. The kitchen and it’s eating area are bright and open and cheerful. Cooking was easy — given that the gas stove and the ample sink and refrigerator and cabinets with pots and pans were all readily accessible.
The long kitchen table enabled all 10 of us to gather together at meals.
The location of the house is also excellent. It’s only a short walk to the pier for crabbing and fishing in the bay —- and also a short walk to the ocean.
The owners of this rental property are very fine people and were very responsive
To our needs.
Gorgeous gathering place at Jersey Shore
Owners did a fabulous renovation on a spacious, 100-year old beach house. The kitchen/dining area made gathering easy. It's conveniently located, across from the bay and a short walk to the ocean. We loved every minute and so did our extended family. Waves of family came and went and all felt right at home. Owners provided local highlights, plus beach chairs, beach towels and badges. We loved it!
This house is located across the street from the Barnegat Bay—the indoor porch offers amazing views and sunsets—and less than a mile to Island Beach State Park, which is ideal for camping, fishing, nature walks and birdwatching.
Just two blocks up the road is Seaside Park Beach: a clean, family-friendly, spacious beach, amazing for swimming, boogie-boarding, surfing...or just sunbathing.
And just one block away, you have access to the White Oak Grocery store, Surf Taco (a must-stop for lunch!), a sub/sandwich shop, bakery, coffee shop and liquor store. Walk three blocks for Sundae Times ice cream shop!
