Anne Wall McIntosh purchased this Cabin in 2016
Why Anne Wall McIntosh chose Boyce
We bought this cabin from Bill's family. It was built by his father. A old 19th century cabin dismantled in the Shenandoah Valley and reconstructed on five acres in Clarke County. We wanted to keep the property in the family.
What makes this Cabin unique
The cabin is charming, lovely timbers and stone work. Located on a beautiful wooded lot in a quiet area of Clarke County.

Beautiful & peaceful!!
Great little cabin. Loved our visit. Property owners were wonderful!!
WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK.
Ideal place to enjoy Shenandoahs from...
Only issue was road noise (not bad though). Great accommodations - and location. Nice owner for sure.
Nice! Location! But...
We really did enjoy our stay. The location was right, we caught some fish in the nearby river, we were an easy drive for lots of the stuff we wanted to do. The cabin was clean, no need for an air conditioner with all the windows open.
I have two gripes. For the cost, I would have hoped the kitchen would have been better stocked and maintained. They need a $50 run to the dollar store for a decent set of drinking glasses and measuring cups. Also, the sofa is made of fabric and if you have a pet allegery your trip can be ruined.
Peaceful and close to the Upperville horse show grounds!
We loved the house and enjoyed our stay while at the Loudoun Benefit horse show!
This is our second stay at the Kennel Rd. Cabin, and we love it. We are a bunch of horse people who travel with our well-behaved dogs, and the cabin is perfect for all of us. It's comfortable inside and out, with a great dining room, front porch, palatial upstairs bathroom with jacuzzi tub, and plenty of running room for the dogs to play. What more could we want? We'll be back!
