Overview

About the property

Iconic lake house with water views and semi-private beach. Enjoy the large deck while you relax or barbeque with friends, as eagles fly overhead and trout swim in the waters below. This newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath lake house offers gorgeous views, expansive decks overlooking the water, hardwood floors and a fireplace. The Lake House sleeps 10 comfortably and a few more with a little imagination with 1 king bed, 2 queen beds and a family room with 1 set of twin bunk beds and a full bed. The house offers all amenities, including laundry facilities and a large back yard with patio and horseshoe pit. Unfortunately, there is no Wifi on the property, but the cell phone signal is very strong. Although the property does not sit on the lake, you will have access to the semi-private, neighborhood beach across the street. Also nearby is the Peninsula resort area which has jet ski and boat rentals, and a free State Park beach and boat launch, and if you are traveling with a boat. And yes, we do have room for your boat and trailer. We are pet friendly for dogs, however, please note - a nonrefundable pet deposit and proof of current vaccinations is required in order to ensure the safety of all pets - as well as a 2 pet maximum limit per stay.

Wonderful week

  • 5 of 5

Every thing was as lovely as the pictures showed. Loved relaxing on the deck after a long day fishing and playing on the lake. The kitchen was my favorite and I`m am cooking person, it was very well stocked. I even found a loaf pan so we made banana bread. Yum. On the funny side I have a bad Knee so I had to think hard as to how I was going to get on the high bed, well guess what, I found a step stool in the laundry room and problem solved. Thank you for sharing your home, we had lots of room so we all had our own space. Also you were very helpful when I had a question, always came up with the answer. Thanks again Pam

Beautiful and fun location at a great house

  • 5 of 5

The deck is huge and overlooking beautiful lake almanor. With a built in speaker system and lots of seating, it will give you a place to gather with family and friends. Lots of beds in this house, and cute decor. The walk to the beach is short, and we enjoyed that it was never crowded. Recently remodeled house was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the special touches like the walkie talkies for staying in touch with those at the beach.

Perfect home away from home for annual family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We were so happy not only with the home, but with the owners as well. The house was really clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The "semi"-private beach was really a private beach for us, because we were the only ones there, and it was perfect for us and the kids. The owner was also a dream. She was so nice, informative and accommodating. We are looking forward to, and are already planning our trip for next year.

Favorite vacation yet!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this beautiful house for a short family trip before school starts. We are only 2 hours away anyway, but had never been to Lake Almanor. The house is beautiful, kid and pet friendly-it was a perfect fit. The owner called the day before we left with details and allowed me to ask questions on the house, the area, restaurants, grocery stores... any little question my heart desired. Next time, we will just ask more family to go with us! Plenty of room and something you would want to show off. We spent days at the lake and nights on the deck playing cards... No phones. (although we had full cell phone signal) No wifi.. NO PROBLEM. We are looking at returning before the winter! Great place!

Awesome Stay

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a 7 day stay at this beautiful house with our 2 adult children, their spouses and 2 small children. We are already looking at our calendars for next year! The house was equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. Even though there was a 1 1/2 year old in our party she had the run of the deck as we sat and enjoyed the amazing view.

The lake itself is one of the prettiest lakes we have been too. We rented a pontoon boat for 2 days and had a blast! Can't wait to return!!

Thank you Lisa and Jodie for sharing your beautiful home!
