Love the back porch and pontoon rental, owners close by and very helpful. Close to town for a quick bite and groceries. Many birds visit the feeders. Quiet and cozy place.
Lovely stay, great hosts
Stayed at Jim and Teresa’s place for a girls weekend with a friend. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Cabin and beds were comfortable. There is a great fire pit, though we didn’t use it. We had fun bird watching on the deck. Would love to come back!
I'm so late writing this review! We stayed here in August, and this was an amazing vacation for us! Perfect size house for two couples, although we spent most of our time on the lake or the front porch overlooking the lake. Lots of bird watching! Spider lake is not a great walleye lake if that's what you're looking for, however we had fun catching sunfish and bass. Our nights were spent on the porch and around the awesome fire pit. This place had it all! The hosts were both easy to work with, and answered every question we had. The only issue we had was that there was no gas for the grill. Not really a problem for us, since we just used the charcoal one that was there. Just to let people know, there are stairs to go down to the lake. I would highly recommend this cabin. We had a fabulous relaxing time!
Clean and Comfortable
We were very comfortable with our stay at Spider Lake. The cabin was clean but small; however, the wonderful covered deck overlooking the beautiful lake and the fabulous outdoor fire pit made for a spacious summer vacation. Spider Lake is quiet, peaceful and beautiful - with the pine trees and loons you would think you were at the Boundary Waters. The owners were helpful and informative and available for any questions. We would go again.
Everything was great
Jim and Teresa are amazing hosts! I knew that if I needed anything, they were just a phone call away!
The cabin is clean and very cozy. I enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning with a beautiful view of the lake. This is the perfect get away destination if you want to relax and come home rejuvenated!
