Wonderful family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Wholehearted second the review by Anonymous! We visited Seascape for five days, meeting up with our 3 grown children and their partners to enjoy some time together. The location on the beach was absolutely perfect and the view absolutely exceptional. The 'kids' rented SUPs and surfboards and had a blast. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing family meals and the home is well laid out to accommodate 6 adults. The fourth couple used the pullout couch in the living room which worked OK.

There was a generous supply of firewood which allowed use to enjoy livingroom fireplace as well as fires on the beach. Good supply of beach chairs, towels and boogie boards were definitely appreciated.

We would love to come back! Thank you for sharing your bit of heaven with us.

Walking into Seascape we knew that we were in for a treat, but it actually took our breath away and our jaws dropped to the floor!!!!

The view from the entire front of the home was SPECTACULAR !!

We have stayed in many rental homes in Tofino, but Seascape has them all beat.

The view, layout, the attention to details i.e. coffee, sugar, tea, spices, plenty of kitchen equipment, rainy day activities books, dvds, cds, games, umbrellas, hot tub, beach towels, boogie boards, were extremely well thought out.

The beach is right in front of you. 2x's walks, on the beach, watched a whale for well over an hour right out the dining room window while we ate breakfast!

We were 3 couples who all felt blessed to have stayed in

this wonderful home.

If you can find an available date , book it.

You will not be disappointed!

We will be back, so fortunate to have been able to stay here.

Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to stay at your home.

Beautiful views of surf and super child friendly

  • 5 of 5

Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful Seascape. We had a wonderful time staying here. All the kids took turns sleeping in the "Tower", and made use of the free boogie boards almost every day in the Ocean which was just outside the doorstep. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, views from within were incredible. It would be hard to find a better place to stay around Tofino.

Extraordinary house -- beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

There’s not much that I can add to all the glowing reviews from those who have stayed before. They tell the truth – this property is spectacular! The pictures on the internet looked lovely enough, but there is nothing that can prepare you for how lovely the house is, how beautifully decorated, and how very clean it is. And the beach!!! We were content to just be … and look at water – from outside our bedroom, outside the dining room window, outside the living room window, and my favourite room of all – the charming den, with windows all around, lots of light, and an unobstructed view of the ocean and the busy beach (great for people and dog watching). There is a desk in the den and that’s where I set up my laptop, but mostly I just looked out the window. Also, the den has the strongest cell phone signal in the house. Cell signal in Tofino is not always consistent, but who cares?

The kitchen provided everything except groceries that you would need to eat “at home”, thereby cutting some costs. The Co-Op in Tofino is pretty good – good selection and decent prices.

The hot tub is not a huge one (3-people), but it is a little bit of paradise on the corner of the deck. We spent lovely time there watching the surfers. The deck has outdoor furniture and a bbq. Alas, it was usually too rainy, too windy, or too cold to use it.

Speaking of rain and wind, we arrived at the beginning of a fabulous two and a half day storm which was amazing to watch. That’s really why we booked, hoping to see a wild West Coast storm. We were not disappointed. And by the end of the week, the weather transitioned to sunshine and blue skies. That’s Tofino.

Maret, the owner, is fabulous to deal with. She responds very quickly and I enjoyed our interactions.

I can’t say enough about this property. It’s amazing, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you, Maret and Lyle for providing this piece of heaven. I would return in a heartbeat.

It was so nice to just walk out the door and be on the beach. The hot tub was a little small for a house that size but we worked it out. The kitchen was nicely supplied with all the necessities. Highly recommended :)
