Charming home sits in upbeat part of downtown. Its two bedroom, one bath layout is perfect for a party of 2, 4 or 6. With off street parking, gated front yard and sitting area, fireplace and baby items (pack n' play crib, high chair and stroller) this historic home makes "vacation" seem like "home."

Easily walk to West Beach, Cabrillo Blvd., State Street, Stearn's Wharf, Chase Palm Park, the Marina, Santa Barbara City College's Pershing Park, The Carriage Museum and a host of other attractions.

Cook in using the small, full kitchen, or dine out at Sambos for world famous pancakes, Casa Blanca, Enterprise Fish Company, Brophy Brothers or one of the other Santa Barbara favorite dining destinations. Walk to the Urban Wine trail, bike rentals, toot-toot water taxi and paddle board and kayak rentals. All within 10 minute walk.

Worked well for us

The SB Bungalow worked well for the 4 of us, with generous space and large bedrooms. It was clean, well equipped and so nice to have secure parking. The location was close to the Funk Zone, downtown and train/bus. We took in sights, shopping and of course, Rudy's Mexican Restaurant nearby :).

Perfect location, kind and responsive host, could use some home improvements

Overall, had a great stay! Lynn is super kind and helpful (quickly responds to emails/texts/calls, provides tourist recommendations). The house is in an awesome and central location, but had a few things that could use attention: house smelled like cats had been living there quite strongly, there was no shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided, there were flies bedrooms (perhaps due to the trash cans being outside the windows), the trees in the front yard weren’t planted and kept getting blown down and would block the walkway, and lastly, the pillows (at lest on the King sized bed), were pretty uncomfortable (bulky and hard). Also, it was a bummer that checkin was so late (4 pm), but check out was still the standard 11 am time. Overall, we had a great time and would still recommend this place, but for the price, I’d recommend the above issues be addressed wherever possible. Thanks very much for having us!

Cute house, transitional neighborhood

This house is mid block of a fairly Active neighborhood. It’s walking distance to the harbor, beach, train, and state street. On the positive side the beds are very comfy and outdoor cabana is very nice. Property manager was very responsive and easy to work with. As for the not so positive, it is a little loud at night once bar time hits. House could use a very deep cleaning, especiallly kitchen and bathroom ceiling. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay in Santa Barbara

Cute little house and great location

We really enjoyed the location as it’s in walking distance to the wharf, beach and State street and has a convenient store across the street and restaurants next door and one block down. The house is cute with a nice backyard that is perfect for entertaining kids dogs or friends. There is plenty of private parking which was very surprising and convenient. We would stay again
