The accommodation comprises of an open plan lounge and kitchen area, complete with a double sofa bed, and a double bedroom and shower room. All rooms are, like all of our other properties, finished and decorated to the highest standards.

Centrally located in the historic Victorian Spa town of Bridge of Allan, outside the city of Stirling, this property offers easy motorway access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth. Bridge of Allan is situated on the A9, just off junction 11 of the M9

Stirling is situated at the centre of Scotland and it has direct travel links to many of the major cities in Scotland – including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. There are many attractions in the local area, including, an historic castle which was believed to be the “key to Scotland” in medieval days, many nature walks and hill walking opportunities, numerous fine dining and entertainment establishments and the World’s only boat wheel – the Falkirk Wheel.

There are also many attractions for children all over the local area as well as shops, bakeries and sports opportunities galore as well as a fantastic safari park. There is also a microbrewery, golf course and fishing area should the adults wish to relax too!

Comfortable Stay

The apartment was clean and perfect for two adults. It was quiet at night even with the active pub across the street. Plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I felt safe walking by myself. There was a minor problem with a lamp that was fixed immediately. Being American, there was a learning curve on using some items, like turning on the shower, but I cannot wait to return. The washer and dryer are small, but efficient. There is no freezer in the fridge, so no ice. All the appliances look new. There are plenty of glasses, dishes, pots and utensils. There are extra blankets, sheets, shelving in the large closet and hangers. A grocery store and post office are within walking distance. The grocery store is open late. I can recommend all the restaurants as very good, but the bakery is perfection. The train station is close by and an easy ride to Glasgow or Edinburgh. The apartment is exactly as pictured and I received my cleaning deposit refund within a couple days. The communication with the rental company was perfect, fast and efficient. The only complaint is that it would have been nice to have a place to sit outside, but the pub across the street can help with that. Lastly, it is at the end of a dead end street so no traffic noise There is a short set of steps that gets you to the main shopping area. It is a small, quiet, restful area with pubs and restaurants close by. Again, I cannot wait to return.

Allenvale apartments

A nice unit in a great location

We are a retired couple on holiday from Australia. This was a wonderful place for us to spend a week. The apartment itself was exactly as described. Its location was excellent, with many, many attractions located nearby.

We explored Bridge of Allan – very interesting. Visited nearby Stirling and Dunblane – so much history. And took trips to Glasgow and Perth as well as visiting The Kelpies. We ran out of time before we ran out of things to do! Would happily return to see more and stay again at Allanvale Apartment.

Perfect Location!

This cute flat is in a perfect location. Walk to everything in Bridge of Allan. Wifi signal was good. Owner and property manager are very responsive if needed. Nicely equipped kitchen. Lots of cabinet space in bathroom to store your toiletries. There is plenty of parking on the street and in the car parks nearby and there is a spot in front of the flat that is sometimes available for parking (but it is not designated for the flat). We never had trouble finding a place to park that was close.

A good base for a week touring around

Allanvale Apartment is a ground floor apartment. It is situated at the end of a road so there is no passing traffic. There is space outside the front to park the car (making sure it is beyond the double yellow lines).

The apartment inside is good for two people, although there is a bed settee in the living room area, for one more person. But I am not sure how comfortable this would be for a whole week. The apartment is compact but was cosy.

The kitchen/diner and living room area are all open plan but were well equipped and nicely presented. There is a washing machine, drier and dishwasher. The tiled shower room has a good electric shower, toilet and basin and includes a heated towel rail. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment so was also very quiet (you could just hear the river flowing beyond the boundary). The bed was comfy and there was plenty of space within the large double wardrobe.

Bridge of Allan was a lovely little town with plenty of good places to eat. The Co-op and Tesco express were nearby for shopping. Very good connections from the train station 10 minutes walk away got you around the area including Edinburgh, Glasgow,Falkirk, Stirling, Helensbrough. There are also several nice walks between Bridge of Allan, Dunblane and Stirling. A good base if you like to be out and about.

  • This price is fully inclusive of all heating, electricity,towels, linen and a small welcome pack on arrival.

    At end of your stay, the refundable breakages/damage deposit is refunded onto the card used to make the balance payment. Please ensure that this card is valid beyond your departure date to enable this refund. Failure to use a card valid beyond departure date will incur bank charges to process the refund to International bank accounts.

    Please note that if your booking is placed less than 6 weeks before arrival date full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit must be made on booking.


    Booking fee, deposit, refundable breakages/damage deposit and balance payment

    1. A 50% non refundable deposit has to be made by you on booking. This is to secure your booking and represents a booking that will be fully confirmed on receipt of the remainder of the rental fee . 2.5% of the total rental amount is due in a booking fee. This will be taken with the deposit payment.

    2. Confirmation of the booking will normally be made to you within 48 hours of receipt of the payment.

    3. Full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit is required 6 weeks prior to the rental period. If you have ticked the repeat payment option to allow us to take the balance payment from the card used on booking, this payment will automatically be taken 6 weeks before arrival date. E mail confirmation of the payment will be sent out.

    4. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the rental period, full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit is required to secure the booking.

    5. A refundable breakages/damages deposit has to be paid with the balance payment 6 weeks before arrival date. This is to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the apartment. It will be returned after the rental period following a complete and satisfactory check of the inventory and property.This can take up to 7 days to show in your account.

    6. Full details of how to get to the house and where the key can be collected will be sent to the person making the booking after full payment has been received and no sooner than 6 weeks before the date of entry.

    7. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.

    Changes to the booking dates

    1. Any change can be made to the booking (subject to availability) before 6 weeks with no charges. However changes may be subject to necessary changes in rental period charges

    2. Any changes to bookings made with less than 6 weeks to booking are made at the owner's discretion and subject to necessary changes in rental period charges.

    3. All changes made with less than 6 weeks to the rental period are subject to a standard charge of £50 or currency equivalent.

    Cancellation Charges

    The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed.

    Cancellation must be made in writing.

    Cancellation charges are as follows

    Less than 6 weeks – loss of total rental value, however refundable breakages/damage deposit will be returned.

    More than 6 weeks - loss of 50% non refundable deposit made on booking.

    Please Note: if the owners are able to re-book the cancelled dates, all rental monies paid will be refunded minus a 20% administration fee for each portion of nights rebooked, irrespective of when the booking is cancelled.
