6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, heated pool, aircon, gardens, sea views
We have lived in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and now Warwickshire. We were teachers, and later business owners. We have two children - a son and a daughter. Our son married this summer so we are now a family of 5.
Liz purchased this House in 2000
Why Liz chose Falfeira
The villa is on a large plot on a hill on the edge of the town; these two features provide privacy whilst maintaining easy access to all amenities. The views are amazing both by day and at night.
What makes this House unique
Over the years many friends and family members have stayed with us and all have enjoyed the facilities, the space and the ambience. The villa definitely has karma; you will relax the minute you step trough the door!.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
The drive from Faro Airport to the villa takes about 55 minutes as it mostly motorway. Leave the motorway at junction 2 to access th east of Lagos. The English and the Portuguese have been allies since the 14th Century. The majority of staff in restaurants and shops speak English. The English and the Portuguese keep the same time so no changing your watches on arrival.
There is history to explore if you are interested. Lagos is a lovely place; as are the people. The beach, the gym, shops, restaurants and bars, 'Zoomarine', 2 water parks, a zoo and 'Algarve' shopping are within easy reach by car. A drive to Sagres is recommended. Sand Sculpting is in Lagoa. Many water sport activities can be booked on the Marina and from kiosks on the main avenue. Surfing can be booked in town but you will taken to the west coast for this activity.
There are lots of restaurants but our favourites are Dom Henrique, Daura, No Patio and Aveninda Hotel. The nightlife is also great and starts after 11pm.
We can recommend a Private Taxi firm so no one has to be the nominated driver.
