About Tia Lamb
The Homestead was a dream of mine after the death of my soul mate, best friend, father of my children and someone who I was going to share my life with-until cancer stepped in and ended the dream for us. I purchased the land and created a small subdivision. I also created a home that i designed with the measurements from our first home that was a single wide trailer! I built it big thinking that the kids would grow, marry and have children to stay and visit. I do have one grand daughter who LOVES grandma's big house. She is four now and loves to come up with me when I go to clean it. It is a work of my heart. I have really worked hard on doing everything I can do on the home by myself. I have refinished furniture and laid lots of flooring! It is a work in progress and I have many more ideas to work on. I someday want to move myself back to town and life my life in the home surrounded by family and friends. I am grateful to share my home and hope that you can feel the sense of "family" that I worked so hard to make this home with. It is comfortable, inviting, and a home to visit/connect with families. A work of the heart.
Tia Lamb purchased this House in 2008
Why Tia Lamb chose Orderville
I first bought the land to just make a subdivision thinking that it would be a great investment and a chance for growth in the kid's trust. I quickly found out that teaching kindergarten and building a subdivision was(is) world's apart in knowledge. I have tried to finish what I started in the subdivision in the last years, but have realized the home is the best thing I have planned. The home is located on a hill overlooking the valley, set on a hill with no neighbors but the deer, and a home that is large enough for all my family to want to come and visit. Life is good.
What makes this House unique
The most unique benefit of the home is the location. It is in city limits, but on it's own three acres surrounded by a slot canyon, trees, and land. The home is large and built for family gatherings that include two large dining tables, outside games, a grill and a fire pit with marshmellow roasters to help make the evenings the family will never forget. We want to be part of the memories that make you trip to our home a memory that will stay with you long after your trip is complete!

John and family-Thank-you for choosing my home to be a part of your visit to Southern Utah!! You were a great group to host because the home was clean and even the laundry started! I would love to host your group again when you are in the area! Thanks, Tia
Spacious and Convienent to Bryce and Zion!

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay.
Clean and spotless, very comfortable, amazing location, numerous amenities, the list goes on. For a large party it suited all of our needs and was extremely comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly, communicating quickly and promptly and making sure all of our needs were met. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
Tia was quick to respond, everything was as advertised, and this was a great place to stay for our work group. Thanks a ton!!
Outstanding, excellent choice for families.
Tia was amazing. Out of probably a dozen home away rentals I have had, this one stands above the rest. Thanks Tia!!
Thanks for the great Review Jason! You were great guests, easy to work with and we would love to have you stay again! Best wishes!! Tia
Great place to get away
The house was just as it looked; clean, spacious, and well-stocked.
We loved the Slot-canyon hike, played horse shoes, tetherball, relaxed on the porch, saw deer, used the kitchen, slept comfortably, drove to the Pink Coral Sand Dunes, and had a great little family reunion. Thanks, Tia, for everything!
From the canyon walls of the Glen Canyon, to the red rocks of Kanab, one of the seven wonders of the world-The North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, pinkish yellow spires of Bryce Canyon and the numerous hikes that are available in the area make my home a perfect destination. Your family, friends, or group set up "camp" in the fully stocked, heated/air conditioned home. Eat your breakfast, pack your cooler for lunch, play all day, return home to hot showers and a BBQ. Watch the stars of the dark night sky, then snuggle down in the comfy beds to rest up for the next day!!
