We are proud to offer this newly remodeled cottage style home just minutes north of downtown. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home features the modern mix of form and function in a plunge pool made from a shipping container. The pool is 8 feet wide by 24 feet in length with a flat bottom that is 4 feet deep. At the entry end you step off the deck onto a beach that is 8 feet wide and 4 feet in length, where the water is only 6 inches deep. This beach is a great place to sit or recline being part in and part out of the water. Combined with the expansive decks, patio dining and outdoor grilling make this property the ultimate vacation getaway. Inside you will be comfortable year round with central heat and A/C. Enjoy an open floor plan with lots of natural light, brand new stainless steel Samsung kitchen appliances, granite counter tops, Ikea cabinets, all new furniture with a 55” smart TV, hotel quality bedding and mattresses and bathrooms featuring all new tile flooring, granite counter tops and walk-in tile showers with glass doors. The master bedroom offers an en-suite bathroom, vaulted ceilings and French doors that look out onto the deck and pool.

There is an electronic front door lock installed and you will receive a unique code for your use during your stay so you do not have to worry about electronic key cards or keys! The house is also equipped with cable, Wi-Fi and a Netflix subscription is provided (free of charge) for your use.

It is in a great location in North Central San Antonio, a short drive to North Star Mall and the Shops at the Quarry. It is very close to Breckenridge Park and Zoo, the new children's museum, the Witte Museum as well as the shops and restaurants at the Pearl. Less than 10 minutes to the Alamo and Riverwalk. And if you are celebrating a graduation at Lackland from BMT, it's only 18 minutes away. A variety of restaurants are within five minutes from this home. Being centrally located inside Loop 410, between the 281 Expressway and IH-10, this home has easy access to most of the major attractions in San Antonio. Uber and Lyft also provide a safe and affordable way to get around our city.

We also have two larger homes with traditional in-ground pools being #875754 and #969529, and #1082807 has a 7 person hot tub instead of a pool. Our plan is to continue to add two or three homes to our VRBO inventory each year.

Celebrating family birthdays

Our family enjoyed the house during our stay. The floor plan was perfect for us. The house was clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms are hotel quality. There were a few problems with two ceiling fans and we were very disappointed that we were not notified ahead of time that the inside of the container pool had a lot of rust on the walls and floor of the pool. I was told that the previous guests informed the owner of the problem and the owner was working on the problem. We were told that it was safe for swimming but the water turned brown while we were swimming. If these issues can be resolved I would give this place 5 stars and stay there again.

We apologize for not notifying you prior to your stay but we were only informed of it immediately prior to your visit. We should have provided notice immediately and for that we are very sorry. The company that came out during your stay to take measurements has just installed a beautiful new pool liner. The listing will be updated shortly with new photos. As for the ceiling fans, we appreciate you notifying us during your stay that there were issues with them and we have since resolved. Again, thank you for staying with us - we hope to have you back.

The house was wonderful! It was beautiful and had everything needed for a successful stay!

My family and I enjoyed everything about the house and pool. It fit our needs. The beds were comfortable. The towels and beach towels provided were great. The kitchen had everything needed. There were no negatives to the rental.

Clean, comfortable, and peaceful.

Was really impressed with the property and its updated high end finishes. From the soft close cabinets to the heated container pool, it made it such an enjoyable stay. The beds were comfortable and clean and provided that hotel luxury without having to share a wall with strangers. From now on when we vacation we will utilize this option instead of pricey hotels.

Only disappointment was the fact there is only one TV in the house. We used our tablets and phones, along with the free wifi, to combat this downfall. Thanks again for the wonderful stay.
