About the property

A lovely, light filled Scandinavian loft style pet friendly town home located on Rehoboth Avenue Extended at the entrance to downtown Rehoboth Beach. A short walk or bicycle ride into town. Easy access to the wonderful Junction and Breakwater walking/jogging/bicycle trail connecting Rehoboth Beach to Lewes. Plenty of space, open plan make family socializing easy and comfortable. Features a completely fenced in private and shady yard, with a nice picnic table and chairs for lounging. A brand new grill will make outdoor cooking a treat for family and friends. The third floor has access to a sunny roof top seating deck. Sleeps 9 (7 in beds in bedrooms with an additional 2 on a full sleeper sofa in the master bedroom). Bedroom 1 also has a baby crib. Pet policy allows 2 dogs with a non-refundable pet fee of $200 per dog. Assigned parking outside unit for 2 cars. One street parking permit for non-metered spots included for downtown Rehoboth Beach parking.

If we can sub-let your dates then we refund your cost minus a 15% rebooking fee, minus the HomeAway Service Fee, and minus the Travel Insurance cost (if applicable). Very spacious loft -kid and pet friendly

This loft was very spacious and lots of lightning. Great layout and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the rooftop deck, but needed to wear flip flops because our feet got black. Overall, a great place to stay off the beaten path. We would stay here again.

The property is pretty good but the location is awful.

Pet owners are limited in what they can rent. We also started late. That said, this condo is new, and well-equipped. The cleaning it got wasn't thorough, and some hardware was frustrating (bathroom sink stoppers did not work) and in a heavy rain there was a small-ish leak, but the location right off Route 1 where drag racing seemed to occur almost every night actually kept us awake.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your feedback Rena. 2 of the 3 Bedrooms are in the back of the property. The master bedroom and 3rd level deck are in the front of the unit but very far back from Coastal Highway. Although this property has been listed for the last 2 seasons, this is the first comment regarding noise that we have received. Perhaps someone was drag racing on Coastal Highway in which case the police should have been called.

Mostly Satisfactory, but Dated, and in Need of Attention

Overall we found the rental to be OK. It was not as clean as we expected, with trash under beds, in storage unit under stairs (along with candies and some dead bugs), used tissues on floor in corners, fans did not work in second and third floor bedrooms, the HVAC pipe over third floor bedroom door is rotting, and leaks water, dog waste was left behind in yard, and grille was not clean from previous use. We were disappointed that while the TVs had On Demand, we were not able to access common channels as TV Land, TNT, USA, CNN, MSNBC, Food Network etc. We would have enjoyed watching national news stories as they were happening, and were not that interested in watching old reruns on demand. We did watch a few movies on HBO. Also on a more positive side, parking was sufficient, most furniture and beds were comfortable; water was at a good pressure and hot when needed. Door security was good and we felt safe with the parking. This will not prevent us from using VRBO again in the future, but we would have a difficult time recommending this particular unit.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback. We wish that you had called regarding the cleaning as our cleaning company offers a 100% guarantee and would have come out the same day had we known. The ceiling fans all work properly, however the controls require that the power button be pressed in before the fans will operate. Lastly, owners generally do not offer all possible cable channels as most guests tell us that they spend so much time outside and at the beach that they barely watch TV. In the future, when you use VRBO, if you have any problems, always call for help. Most problems can be corrected if the owner or agent is notified. We hope to see you again soon! Best, Andy Meddick

Beautiful vacation home with wonderful owners!

We were there for the Sea Witch weekend with friends and the rental was beautiful. It completely exceeded our expectations. Everything was nice and clean, the bedrooms were very nicely sized with adequate bathrooms as well. It's a great rental to host a couple of small families since the bedrooms are generously sized. The kitchen is beautiful with updated appliances and is open to the living room and dining room. The side fenced in yard is nicely landscaped and is private to be used only by this rental. You don't have to share it with other units.There is also a grill for bbqing and there is good shade for those hot summer days. There is beach equipment in the garage to use. The rental is not right on the beach but it is still within a few minutes drive to get there and parking is usually not a problem. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and are so accommodating. If you find anything lacking, just reach out to them and they will do their best to get you what you need. If you are thinking of booking, just do it! You will not be disappointed.

Our new Vacation Headquarters! Beautiful Home that's ideally located and equipped.

We had such a good time with our family at this property that we came back the next weekend for more great memories! It's official: this is our new “vacation headquarters.” Its location is ideal, directly across Highway 1 from Jungle Jim’s, a water park that is sure to be a hit with kids and adults. It's short drive or bike ride from the amazing Rehoboth and Dewey beaches, and walking distance from the Tanger shopping outlets. I truly recommend taking the Junction & Breakwater Trail, which passes behind the property, for strolling with a pet, jogging or biking. You will not regret coming home to this relaxing property and enjoying family time, fellowship with friends, or solitude. It’s roomy, comfortable, clean, ideally located and equipped with everything you need to make your vacation a wonderful, lifelong memory.
