Why Tina Allen chose Ft Myers Beach
Fort Myers beach is a lovely 7 mile island with a sandy white beach the stretches the entire length of the island. This property is located in the downtown are close to restaurants, pubs, Shopping, entertainment, and so Much more. The island has a wonderful community center less then half a mile away that has tennis, basketball, pool, disk golf, and so much more.
What makes this Villa unique
Though the property is in the downtown area it is nested among the trees and set back from the main road. The balcony overlooks the shaded court yard of the Tuckaway Café which is a coffee shop serving up specialty coffees, waffles, bagels, muffins, and other local favorites, the café is open 7:00 Am till 2:00 Pm daily.

Nice room but noisy from street and cafe. Lights left on outside all night.

Not Ideal As A Vacation Rental
The good: The location is great. The beach access is just around the complex. The walk to the pier with restaurants and bars is about half a mile. There are plenty of other restaurants and bars close by as well. The condo is nicely updated and well equipped.
However the major issue is the coffee shop below. We are early risers. I read all the reviews regarding the coffee shop and the music and wasn’t too concerned. We spent three nights. On the first two mornings we had planned to get up early and sightsee. So the 5:45 AM arrival of the employees below was not necessarily an issue. However you can hear every holler, bang, and door shutting. The The music started between 645-7:15 AM. The base can be felt all throughout our condo. The speaker is mounted on the honoring just outside the bedroom window. If the base were adjusted and the speaker moved elsewhere it may not be an issue. On our third morning there it was just getting old. Not to mention the night prior, one of the employees was in the coffee shop around 10 PM with a saw and hammer doing some sort of work. If I’m in early riser getting up at 6 AM with the arrival of the coffee shop and please, I think 10 PM is a bit ridiculous for work downstairs. However I don’t thought the coffee shop for any of this. They are a business and I’m sure the music attracts passers by.
This condo would be much better suited for a long-term renter who works early shifts during the day.
Other minor issues that weren’t so much dealbreaker’s, but more recommendations for the owner: more table lamps to avoid turning on the harsh bright overhead lights, additional shelving in the bathroom. It was tight. Not to mention the bathroom door only opens about 50 to 60° Due to the tight fit of the furniture.

Great deal on a great property. Inside is beautifully redone. Two beautiful rooms and a beautiful kitchen. Very reasonably priced. Short walk straight to the beach. Also very close to many bars and restaurants... a central location. Good coffee shop right below. Balcony was wonderful at night with accent lighting in courtyard area. Only negative was noise in the morning from the coffee shop, but was not a problem for us being early risers.... would be easy to sleep through.
Can't beat the location!
We really enjoyed our time in FMB. This villa was perfect for us. The location relative to the beach is really the selling point. We could easily come and go to the beach throughout the day instead of having to lug along an entire days worth of food/drink/etc...
The property owner, Joe, really went above and beyond to ensure that our stay met our expectations. Highly recommended!
