Ancient monkeypod tree offers seclusion and comforting shade providing for a treehouse setting for this second story hideaway on one of Southern Kauai's most loved resorts -- Kiahuna Plantation. We are #236 located in building #36.

Wonderful corner unit -- enjoy the Kauai trade winds with the distinctive louvers on the sidewalls in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The rooms all have dramatic vaulted ceilings lending to a Polynesian atmosphere.

Enjoy the lanai for meals, lounging and a peaceful place to relax while the monkeypod tree slowly sways in the breeze.

This unit is truly a home away from home at a resort that has the best location in all of Poipu Beach. Kiahuna Plantation is the only resort in Poipu that is located on a swimming beach. It has its own on-site restaurant, pool, tennis courts and gym facility. World class dining and shopping is within walking distance.

We keep the condo beautifully decorated because we love our guests to come back often. There is a fully furnished kitchen, Bose CD/radio, picnic cooler, books and games and other amenities.

About Jed and Lisa Stevens

We have been frequent travelers to Hawaii for many years while balancing full time careers and a busy family life. In order to enjoy Hawaii with our family to the fullest, we had to become experts in how to manage our vacations ~ from tricks with booking airline tickets and navigating the airports, to knowing the perfect places to stay, the best restaurants and unsurpassed local spots, all the way down to what goes into a bag for the perfect beach day! Armed with this knowledge of how to make a great vacation, we combined our history of owning and managing several rental properties and our ability to manage lots of small details amidst chaos (we have 4 very busy children!). The result of that effort is Koloa Kai Vacation Rentals!

Using the skills that made us successful in our other careers, we have applied ourselves to the business of making great vacations for others in order to share our passion for the Hawaiian islands and its spirit of aloha. Lovely and convenient condo

Thanks so much for the use of your lovely condo. We found it to be really clean and well-stocked for an enjoyable stay in Poipu beach. The location was fantastic - very easy access to the beach and pool, coffee in the mornings and restaurants for dinner. We really appreciated how easy you made it to book your rental and for your clear communications and travel tips. My only (small) suggestion would be to have a binder of information available in the condo, rather than to have to search things up from email on my phone.

Experience the quiet breezes and privacy of a Kauai lanai.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Kiahuna 236 Treehouse Hideaway, especially

the lanai which overlooks beautiful vegetation and grasses. We had breakfast each morning there listening to the birdsong and smelling the fragrance of a lush Hawaii morning. We highly recommend staying at Kiahuna 236.

Great condo, would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying in this condo at the Kiahuna. This was our second time staying at the resort and we definitely liked this one better than the first one we stayed in. We'd recommend this one to anyone looking to stay in Poipu, the grounds are just beautiful and it's so close to the beach, restaurants, shops and the rec club.

Fantastic Location and beautiful property

This is the cutest, cleanest piece of property I think I have ever visited. The location is very comfortable and really had everything one would need. The Monkey Pod Tree right outside over the top of the balcony is simply awesome and serene at the same time! Waking up to the sound of the many birds was just so welcoming too! My only issue and the reason for the 3 stars is that the bed in this condo is horrible. I admit that I like a firm mattress but I can sleep on a softer one as well. This bed sinks in the middle and is honestly just a pile of mush. I had to sleep on the sofa in the living area for 3 nights. I'm actually surprised that this complaint is not in any of the other reviews. But I would definitely suggest to the Management Team to replace the mattress. With a new mattress, I would recommend this property 100%!!

This location was a little bit of paradise within paradise. It is perfectly tucked in amongst all the lush green plants and right by the most gorgeous banyan tree. Every morning I'd wake up and walk out to the lanai where I'd enjoy the island's local fruits. The rooms were spacious and decorated nicely. I had everything I needed and any questions/requests I had were addressed immediately. This particular location is nice because it is an end unit and just steps away from Kiahuna beach which is actually my favorite beach in Poipu. I've been going to this beach for over 5 years. I highly highly recommend this place. Jed and Lisa, I will be back! Maybe during the beginning of July to celebrate my birthday. Mahalo for the wonderful stay!

Cleaning Fee $125 + Tax
Tax Rate 14.42%

All reservations require a 50% payment to hold chosen dates.
• 30 days prior to arrival, the remaining balance is due in full

• Reservations cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival date are refundable with a 50% refund, except fees which are non-refundable.
• Reservations cancelled 29 days or fewer are non-refundable.
• Holiday reservations are non-refundable.
• We will make every attempt to fill cancelled reservations and if they are filled, a 50% refund may be possible.

Expenses and items not mentioned, including, but not limited to: transportation, tips for personal services, meals, insurance, telephone calls and other items of a personal nature.

Tenant hereby assumes all risk of damage to any and all personal property of Landlord and Tenant, including household furniture and goods during such use and occupancy. Tenant hereby assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Landlord harmless from and indemnify Landlord against the same.

It is agreed that the Premises shall be used only for residential purposes, no animals and for no other purpose whatsoever. Tenant in his possession, use and occupancy of the Premises agrees to observe and comply with all restrictions, laws and ordinances affecting the Premises or occupancy thereof.
Tenant further agrees that no use shall be made of the Premises, or acts done which will increase the existing rate of insurance upon the Premises, or will cause a cancellation of any insurance policy covering the Premises.

Smoking is not permitted in any residence. A $300 fee may be charged for ionization, if smoking in the property is detected.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
