Beautiful setting with all the ammenities!
The property owners were attentive and made sure we were comfortable. The setting is gorgeous and the space is great for a large crew.
We love that Sky Ranch worked so well for your celebration! Thanks for taking such special care...
Absolutely beautiful property!
Had an amazing weekend at the Sky Ranch Retreat that will be remembered for years to come. The property was gorgeous, and Susan was fantastic to deal with. Would highly recommend!
A spectacular, spacious lodge in a gorgeous setting!
This lodge is so amazingly beautiful and was the perfect location to host a family celebration for our oldest daughter graduating with her PhD from the University of Montana at nearby Missoula. The lodge was so spacious and we also had use of one of the very comfortable tents on the property, which could be described as glamping! The lodge sets on a very scenic 40+ acres that has a frisbee golf course that the family members who used it said was fantastic! There is a trail that surrounds the property which we enjoyed a couple of relaxing walks on. We also loved seeing a herd of deer grazing on the grassy meadows in the evening. Owner Susan was also a highlight of our stay. She is so kind and gracious and made sure that our needs and comforts were a priority. Our daughter had a group of colleagues from the university come out the Friday night before graduation, for a dinner celebration and the lodge fit everyone perfectly. We had fun hiking, watching Big Horned sheep and exploring a nearby ghost town. Our family has thanked us multiple times for the perfect time we shared at this incredible place!
Alicia, thank you so much for you kind words. I was the lucky one to be witness to your family's celebration. Such love and support...
Amazing Hosts, Amazing Views.
Sky Ranch Retreat is a treat. Hosts Susan and Chris were beyond hospitable for our large, retreat group. They were beyond accommodating, helped us find a caterer, and had everything we needed (even if we forgot it). Their energy was incredibly giving. Their home is situated on the side of a mountain with mountain views. Every member of our 18 person retreat said how incredibly sweet Susan and Chris were. Their energy is soothing, the retreat space has incredible views and energy, and, in spite of having some of our members in tents and teepees outside, everyone slept soundly and came back in the morning with well-rested smiles.
I can see us hosting our retreat annually at Sky Ranch and am forever grateful to the help and kindness of Chris and Susan. Our group experience was truly perfect.
For 54 miles Rock Creek carves its way out of the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness through the wide valleys of the upper drainage, and down through a narrow canyon until it joins the Clark Fork River 30 miles east of Missoula, Montana. This spectacular drainage supports habitat for two of the finest herds of Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep in the world, and its near pristine waters host a renowned “Blue Ribbon” fishery with five wild trout species, including two threatened natives--bull trout and westslope cutthroats. Elk herds, black bear, moose, white‐tailed and mule deer all thrive in the Rock Creek watershed. Peregrine falcons have been reestablished there, and wolves have again established a presence. The valley also provides a critical link in the wildlife movement corridors that stretch from the greater Yellowstone area to Crown of the Continent Ecosystem to the north. Grizzly bears have even begun to appear in their old haunts along that fragile sinew of habitat connectivity. From Sky Ranch you are minutes away from blue ribbon fly fishing, wilderness hiking, rock climbing, biking, rafting, outfitting and trail rides. Major attractions include the swinging bridge across the Creek and Canyon into the Welcome Wilderness, Sapphire mining and the Garnett Historic Ghost Town. Get off the beaten track and take the Rock Creek Scenic byway to the historic mining town of Philipsburgh or head to the Skahalo Pass for the splendor hi mountain waterfalls. Or stay on the Ranch and enjoy our abundance of wild life or our 18 hole professional disc golf course.
