About Cindy Cline
While Tennessee Grasslands is only in its infancy, Fairvue Plantation itself has a long and storied history. The Fairvue Mansion dates back to 1832 and, over the years has been the setting for foxhunts, steeplechases and racehorse breeding. For much of the 20th century it was home to one of Tennessee's most colorful residents, "Miss Ellen" Wemyss. Gallatin Tennessee was a thriving and wealthy community in the early 1800's. Many structures within the Fairvue development are well over 150 years old. The mare barn, fitness center and the cottages are all original buildings that date back prior to the Civil War. The four antebellum era guest cottages were the home to plantation workers. Cottage St. Blaise, our only two story cottage, stands at the head of the other three cottages; Lakevue Cottage, Miss Ellen's Cottage and The Golf Cottage. All of which have been named inspired by Fairvue's rich history.
Cindy Cline purchased this Cottage in 2011
Why Cindy Cline chose Gallatin
Just steps from the clubhouse, The Club's four guest cottages provide guests a decadently private alternative to traditional lodging. Our Cottages, all of which have stood at Fairvue for more that 150 years, have been carefully transformed though extensive renovations into complete, beautiful "suites" for two. Each cottage features a kitchenette and a sitting area, in addition to a bedroom and bathroom. The cottages each have their own individual style, inspired by Fairvue's rich history. The locals frequently utilize cottages as a special show of hospitality for their visiting guests, celebratory milestones, staycations or for a charming weekend getaway. All cottage guests enjoy full access to the Club's Dining facilities, pool and fitness center.

More attention to detail
Cute place and we did enjoy our stay.
Could have been a bit cleaner dusty chairs and bathroom counter.
They advertise coffee, but we left two phone messages and one in person yet no one ever brought it. The snack that were in the kitchen had expired fresh dates. Not a game changer just a disappointment.
Thus more attention to detail.
Great feel to the whole place. Felt like home.
We really enjoyed the cottage. Clean and a great decor. Honestly felt like home. Tranquil setting. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Thank You so much. I am glad you enjoyed you stay. I appreciate your business.
The only thing missing was the gas fireplace was not working.
Everything was very lovely. However, the bed was very squeaky.
Thank You for staying with us. I have alerted the maintenance man about the squeaky bed. I hope you will stay with us again.
Thank you for your business.
Charming, but needs some changes...
We stayed here for a few days while visiting our daughter. We loved how close it was to her and to the places we were visiting. The people in the club house where you get the keys were very helpful and pleasant. The home itself was clean and comfortable. It was clear that this place has been recently updated. However, they only provide a small bottle of shampoo, but no conditioner and the shampoo bottle the first night was a partial and they didn't provide another bottle when they provided new towels/wash clothes. The fridge was dorm size, which worked fine for us but if you were staying longer or planning meals from there, it wouldn't work. Also, the ice maker was out of order. The biggest issue with this property was that the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've slept on. Both my husband and I got little sleep and was achy all over each morning. This property could easily be a 5 star with some minimal changes!!
Thank you for reviewing our property. I hope you will stay with us again in the future. I have alerted the housekeeping staff about the shampoo and conditioner. I also spoke to the maintenance man about the ice machine and it has been taken care of. As for the fridge, we do not advertise a full kitchen only a kitchenette for small meals or snacks.
I do apologize for the uncomfortable bed. The mattress is not that old. We have had
it about a year or so. I will look into what I can do to make it more comfortable.
I hope you will give us another chance when you are in the area.
Thank you for staying with us.
