About Jhane Ivers
I'm a native Texan, but my husband Gordon and I love to travel! Our first experience with vacation rentals was as guests ourselves staying in several across Europe, especially across Italy and Spain! Great way to experience the culture and flavor of the places you visit! You get a real experience. Think that holds true about San Antonio also. It's a great city with so much to offer! The best gift you can give yourself is to stay in a place that provides an authentic look. You will love our place because it does exactly that! This is Texas, and this is San Antonio. Come on over!
Why Jhane Ivers chose Oakland Estates
Life among the oaks is a beautiful life! Villa Encino offers country acreage in the heart of busy city living. When you drive onto our property, you can feel at ease. But also convenient to all city luxuries within a few minutes. Restaurants, shopping, golfing, adventure parks, and military bases! You will love our place!
What makes this House unique
You are quickly within reach of major shopping (LaCantera) and entertainment (Palladium theatre, Six Flags), a variety of wonderful restaurants (Wild Fish, Paesanos, Magnolia Pancakes), and the medical center. And view is hard to beat! Green belts and wildlife. Doesn't get any better!

Awesome place and location
Property managers were very nice and welcoming. The place is very cozy and the location makes you feel like you are out in the country but yet minutes away from the city life. The place was clean and had everything we needed to make morning coffee and breakfast. The property owners were readily available to answer any questions we had during our stay. Overall would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.
Thank you guys so much for choosing our property. We enjoyed meeting you both and hope you come back to see us. There's plenty more to do here in San Antonio. Thanks again!

Would definitely stay again
A very well appointed, clean, relaxing and enjoyable cottage. Quiet and secluded but just minutes from amenities. Close enough to downtown and the airport, as well as for a trip north to the Hill Country. The hosts were gracious and kind enough to quickly find and mail our son's wedding ring which he left behind. About 20 minutes to Lackland AFB where we were attending a BMT graduation. Highly recommend!
Thank you for choosing our property! So happy to help out with that ring! Please thank your son for his service!

This property was great, everything was just as described if not more. Conveniently Located to everything in San Antonio. The home owners were great, we met them when we arrived and gave us a tour of home. The house was in a safe area which was out main priority. Will definitely stay again when traveling to San Antonio...
Thank you for choosing us! We enjoyed meeting you guys and your son. Come back any time, and stay even longer!

Wonderful property and owners Jhane and Gordon are very accommodating hosts. We rented this house last year and liked it so much we rented it again this year! Very comfortable, all the amenities, we really couldn't’ ask for more. I don’t know what else to say except we will return again!
This is our second stay with Jayne and Gordon in San Antonio and it certainly won’t be our last! The property is gorgeous and their attention to details is incredible. They are as welcoming and kind as can be and we look forward to seeing them again soon!
Thank you for coming back to stay! We loved catching up with you and hope you make us an annual stop in your travels. You guys take such great care of the property while you are here. Looking forward to your next visit!

Reserve this property now! Excellent house and estate.
We've stayed at lots of VRBO's, mainly in TX but also in Hawaii. This house is hands down the best we've ever stayed in. It was perfect for my wife and I and our 18 month old. The house feels as if it's in the country but it's within 20 minutes of anything (SeaWorld, Zoo, Pearl, Market Square, etc).
We (especially our daughter) enjoyed watching the deer in the morning/evening (literally every day). The house is comfortable with a nice cottage feel. A large lot with ample shade provides lots of room for plenty of outdoor time. Do your thing in the city and come back "home" to this estate.
Thank you so very much! Your review made our owners' hearts soar! It's certainly our goal to provide our guests with the very best, and we are so happy that you enjoyed the property and your stay! Thanks for taking such great care of the house. We hope you guys will come back soon.
