Very nicely and tastefully renovated old stable building in beautiful surrounding.
The house is perfectly equipped and the landlords were very friendly and helpful!
This was my second stay at this cottage in the last two months. The location is wonderful and is only a few minutes walk away from the Botanic Gardens which are spectacular and a must to visit. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The wildlife is varied and the scenery stunning. If you like hillwalking you are surrounded by some great hills that you can easily climb with a bit of effort. This area is a wonderful place to stay and relax. The cottage is just perfect.
A lovely cottage in a spectacular setting next to the Botanical Gardens at Benmore. Fantastic wildlife with red squirrels visiting the feeders throughout the day. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area with deer, Highland cattle, farm animals and birds all around. Loch Eck is a stones throw away providing leisure facilities and a cycleway and forest walks. Keen walkers can enjoy climbing the surrounding hills. I hope to be returning in the very near future. A splendid place to stay
Follow the M8 from Glasgow to Gourock where you can catch the Western Ferries to Hunter’s Quay near Dunoon.
You can also drive via the A82, a very picturesque route past Loch Lomond, through Arrochar over the beautiful Rest and Be Thankful along loch Fyne side to the village of Strachur and then follow the banks of Loch Eck.
