Excellent location and accommodations!
Excellent location and walking distance to Historic Downtown Charleston shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet. The apartment was comfortable and had all the accommodations we needed. The owner lives on site and was very nice and helpful. This was our first time to Charleston and he gave us information on things we should visit and places to eat. The only complaint we have is the air conditioner did not work properly in the upstairs bedroom. The bedroom and bathroom were very hot and uncomfortable. We could not sleep and had to take cold showers because it was so hot. We would give it 5 stars, if the air conditioner cooled the upstairs properly. Everything else was perfect!
Hi Michael, thank you for choosing us to host your trip and for taking the time to review us. I wish you had mentioned the issue with the air conditioner while you were staying with us because we could’ve had it serviced. When you mentioned it after leaving, we had a our specialist look at it and it was a quick repair.
Beautiful home, perfect location.
This apartment couldn't be in a better location. It's within a ten-fifteen minute walk to any destination in the city. The home itself was very clean, and all linens and toiletries were provided in case they were forgotten. The only reason I'm giving it four instead of five stars was because it was VERY hot upstairs in the bedroom. Even putting the a/c unit on 64° didnt cool off the room. Because it was so hot/humid inside, there were mosqitos in the house. My wife and
I woke up with quite a few bites. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and hope the insulation issue had been fixed. Again, the location cannot be beat.
This was the perfect location. We were only a block from a coffee shop, few blocks from a nice french bistro, King St, Starbucks, Circa 1887 and the college. A a short walk to the market and the farmers market. The duplex was private, clean and in a safe location. It had a working kitchen which we didn't end up using but was nice to have.
Lovely accommodations. Good location. Close to everything. Spiral staircase a challenge for some
Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable. Charleston has much to offer.
Walking Historic Downtown
We enjoyed our stay in this historic house. Walking distance to all of downtowns Charleston! Cozy little place, once we figured out how to work the heater as we had a few cold nights!
All in all, we would stay here again.
