Comfy clean home

  • 4 of 5

Although the home and furnishings are on the older side, the house was very clean and comfortable. The booking process was easy and Kay was great to deal with. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was great. Lots of room in the house and my kids loved the games! After being on the road for awhile before arriving, we really appreciated the washer and dryer as well. I also really appreciated that this home can be rented on a daily basis, rather than weekly only- which is tough to find in the summer months in Chincoteague!! Thanks!

I would not hesitate to book again if in the area.

Wonderful vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this homey rancher. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms perfect for our family of 7. The no-frills, comfortable furniture was great since young children and luxurious surroundings don't mix well!

Thanks again for sharing your home with us. We'll definitely consider this home for future vacations!

Beyond expectation

  • 5 of 5

The house was very clean. The kitchen lacked nothing to prepare and enjoy a meal. The best part was getting to meet Billie and Ann Hampton. Billie was such a blessing and answered all our questions.

Great family week!!

  • 4 of 5

We didn't decide until March that we wanted to vacation in Chincoteague Island and then only had one week when the six of us where all available. I jumped on the website and found John & Kay's place. We arrived July 5 early in the day and were greeted by Billy who was friendly and welcoming. The house was perfect! Everything we needed! Very clean, comfortable and roomy. We had a great time discovering the islands beach, shops, restaurants and scenery. Just what we needed! John and Kay answered all our questions and offered great tips on places to eat and see along with things to bring with us. Thanks for everything plan to come back.

Great summer vacation home for a great price!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time during our stay here. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was very spacious and the washer/dryer and dishwasher were an added bonus when you have 8 people staying somewhere. The owners were quick to respond to questions we had and very pleasant. Can't wait to visit again next year!!

Home-y, no frills vacation home

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a cheap, no frills, vacation home on Chincoteague Island for the weekend. This house was exactly that and we were very happy with it! Lots of sleep space, very clean, multiple clean bathrooms, a fully-stocked kitchen with all of the kitchenware we needed to cook and grill, board games for days it rained, and not too far from town (half a mile from Maddox Road and a mile from downtown). The rental process was very easy, the owners were a phone call away if we needed them, and in-all, it was a great experience. If you're looking for a cheap, no-frills, house on Chincoteague that has everything you need to grill, hangout, and enjoy the Island, definitely check-out this rental! It was also very close to some hiking trails and we were able to walk into town, which is what we wanted.

Would definitely rent this place again!!!
