Class & Sophistication in A Rehoboth Beach House
We elected to book our week at the beach at a property that was different from the traditional 2-3 bedroom condo that has defined our annual family break for the last 25 years. We yearned for something unique, spacious, near restaurants yet quiet and above all - comfortable. What we found in this outstanding house was all of that and more.
My wife and I were stunned at the excruciating attention to detail, the top class finishes, luxurious furnishings and generous amenities. We had unfortunately become so accustomed to "just good enough" beach furniture and low def TV services that the cognitive dissonance we experienced as we settled into Villa Gracie was profound. Her favorite feature was the wrap around front porch where she spent hours reading when we weren't watching the waves at the Laurel Street beach. I enjoyed the hot tub after my daily bike rides around Rehoboth Beach and on the Junction & Breakwater Trail. We (in our mid 50's) and our adult children resolved to return and to hopefully establish a new family tradition. Bravo Andy, Bravo!
Great property, fast friendly service
The place looks exactly like the pictures. Also, Mikey was fast to respond to questions and concerns. We had one issue where the dishwasher didn't work. They sent a service guy out who told us it was a bigger problem than what he could fix at the time (sounded like they may need to replace instead of fix). It never got resolved before we left, but it didn't bother us much. I'd still give 5 stars - it will probably be fixed for the next people.
Thanks for taking the time to review our property. The dishwasher is fixed, sorry the inconvenience. Mikey does a great job for us!

Charming house in a great neighborhood
This house is charming and well decorated. It is restored with the rustic charm of its time. The kitchen/living areas are great and where we spent most of our time while indoors. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of ceiling fans. The house had many windows which make the inside nice and bright. It comfortably sleeps 8. We did not use the pull out couch as it is right in the upstairs hallway. I do wish it had more storage as a lot of closets were locked and the dressers provided did not have enough space for us. We also could have used more cabinet space for food in the kitchen. There was a shelf available in the pantry, but we could have used more as we enjoy cooking and we do grocery shop. We did have an issue with the stove and dishwasher towards the end of the week, but it really did not affect our stay. I would imagine it will be fixed promptly.
The neighborhood is quiet and very family oriented. The house is a 10 minute walk to downtown and a 15 minute walk to the beach. We had young children and they got used to it pretty quickly. We brought a collapseable wagon and also used the wagon onsite to cart our stuff to the beach.
Overall - it was a great week and we will be back again next year!
Thanks for your review Kate. Interestingly enough this house is only 10 years old but designed to replicate a savannah plantation home. The builder must have done a great job if you thought it had been restored. With 4 closets in the house and each bedroom having a large dresser, storage is generally very plentiful. The large 3 shelf pantry in the kitchen holds lots of food.

The house is well decorated, comfortable, and very spacious. Great kitchen, we enjoyed cooking and barbecuing. The air conditioning worked well and we enjoyed walking to the beach. Would highly recommend this house.
Thanks for taking the time to review this house. This was the first year of rentals and folks loved this home. Best, Andy Meddick
Fantastic week in Rehobeth
We stayed at 318 Laurel the last week in July 2017 and was truly amazed at the house! It was everything the website said it was, spacious and comfortable. We have been coming to Rehobeth for three years now and this was the first time we rented a home. The large kitchen and dining table made our family gatherings around meal time very homey and comfortable. Spending the mornings on the front porch with your coffee was a great way to ease into your morning. We will definitely be back!
Thanks for your visit!
Loved it - Beautiful home with every amenity, walking distance to everything
We go to Rehoboth every summer, and this is the nicest house we've stayed in. It's a real home, not just a beach house. Beautiful inside and out. The wrap around porch, with ceiling fans to provide a breeze and big adirondack chairs to relax in, was the highlight for me, but you could make a case for the massive master bedroom and bathroom (2 person soaking tub, walk-in shower, separate WC) as well. High ceilings, nicely decorated, lots of character, extremely clean and well-maintained, comfortable beds, keyless/keypad entry (very nice to not need to remember keys), strong central AC, big gas grill outside, new washer/dryer, even a laundry chute (which my 5 year old loved:) . . . it'd be tough to ask for much more. The master bedroom (upstairs, back of the house) is massive, but the first floor and front upstairs bedrooms, both also with en suite bathrooms, could be considered masters in their own right. The 4th bedroom is smaller, with 2 single beds, with another full bath right outside the door. I'd consider the house as sleeping 8 comfortably; there is a pull out couch on the 2nd floor for 1-2 more people, but it's in the open, large landing off of which the other bedrooms are located - certainly doable, but no real privacy or cut-off from any noise if people are still awake downstairs. Only other thing to note is that if you're the kind of person who thinks no day at the beach is complete without an outdoor shower, you might be a tad disappointed - there's an outdoor showerhead in the driveway, but no privacy. Very quiet, residential street, around the corner from the playground, 15-20 min. walk to the beach/boardwalk, 5-10 min. walk to Rehoboth Ave. (we didn't use the car all week). In general, I'd highly recommend this house for your beach vacation; we plan on staying again next year. Real estate company was extremely responsive to inquiries.
