Located near the tip of Camano Island, this incredible property has the best views of the water that Pacific Northwest has to offer. This 3BR 2.5BA home is a world apart - bring your family here if you'd like the perfect place to decompress. Perched high above the water, with public road access, you can boat, swim, or just sip your coffee in bliss.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
Once you walk in the door, you’ll see exactly what brought you here! Down the entry hall is a view into the living room, with stunning floor to ceiling windows that offer a panoramic view of Puget Sound.
Here you have the convenience of a high-bank property, with a view like no other because of the steep bluff, which overlooks Saratoga passage. In the main living room your only TV is the water - the chairs, couch, window seat and rockers gather round and look out. A wet bar in the corner means you don’t have to take your eyes off the view to fix yourself a nice drink.
The living room is open to the expansive kitchen. Updated appliances and the lovely large island with a built-in gas grill make cooking here a breeze.
Off the kitchen/living room is a sunny dining room that seats 8 - from here you can look out on the property, and get a partial view of the water. Outside the wrap around porch has extra seating, or you can stroll about the 1 acre lot down to the gazebo.
The master bedroom has high ceilings, lovely tile floors, a queen size bed, and outdoor access to the patio and garden. The en suite master bathroom has a stand-up shower. The additional bedrooms share a bathroom - two more queen size beds and twin bunk beds make this house sleep 8 easily.
Camano Island is all about escape, and this home fits right in. The large 1 acre lot overlooking Saratoga passage makes this house a perfect place for solitude - it’s dark enough at night for stargazing. There’s a public access road to the water from the house, where you can launch a boat or just enjoy the quiet waterfront. If you take a drive around the island, you’ll find parks, dining, wineries, movies, and of course more spectacular views.
Check out these other fun activities during your stay:
Convenient access via a bridge vs. the hours of wait for ferries to other islands.
Watch the night skies, boats, whales, and birds with the massive 22x100 OBERWERK binoculars on a heavy duty tripod mount.
Bring your own boat and go crabbing (purchase license) in season off the private community boat launch
Even Northwest winters are a great time to come to Camano; the coastal Puget Sound has a very unique atmosphere which is beautiful to experience.
*Early Winter will see migratory birds which the bird watchers gather to see. Bird watchers will enjoy the snow geese festival as well as the large variety of birds that make Camano Island and the close by Skagit valley home as well as have it on their migratory paths. This area is pretty much an all year around bird watchers' key areas.
You can watch bald eagles, blue herons and falcons from the comfort of the living room as they fly by. In fact, the bald eagles use the tall evergreen tree ('eagle tree') in the Southwest corner of the property to perch on to target their next meal!
