The single bedroom is down the hall if someone needs to close the door and have a quiet nap on the comfortable queen-sized bed. There are plenty of closets and storage space so you can unpack and relax! Beautiful views of the gardens and yard on the .4 acre lot are outside your windows. Access to the yard, firepit, bbq and resident dogs are available if requested :)
The Bow River bike/walking Pathway runs right in front of the house down to the Bow River or downtown, and you are close to beautiful Bowness Park (a short drive or healthy walk away!) There you can take advantage of walking the trails, biking, paddleboating, or fine dining on the lagoon! Excellent running trails with plenty of stairs are located a short drive away at Edworthy Park. It is only a 3-block walk to the bus stops with direct access on the #1 to downtown and local amenities. Restaurants, groceries, coffee shops and specialty shops are only blocks away if you are looking for a nice stroll, and Market Mall is a short drive.
Staying for business, school or longer term? The Foothills Hospital and Alberta Children's Hospital are within a 10-12 minute drive, with the U of C and SAIT 15 minutes away.
For the outdoorsy: 10 minutes from your door is Canada Olympic Park ski hill which also has luge or bobsled tracks, mtn bike trails, mini golf, and a zipline among other attractions. It is a quick hour and a half away from the world renowned Banff National Park townsite, where you can ski, hike, bike, ride the gondola, shop, and dine. Kananaskis Country is only an hour down the #1 hwy with plenty of hiking and outdoor opportunities available as well.
A parking spot is available and arrangements can be made for parking bikes if required.
The homeowner resides upstairs with friendly large furry dogs so if allergies are a problem, do be aware. You have complete privacy in and out of the suite, but can access support anytime with a quick text or call upstairs :)
