As featured in Garden & Gun Magazine, it's the most unique piece of property in all of Gilmer County/North Ga. The main log cabin has a master bedroom (queen) with attached bath. Also features a bunk room and main bathroom with gorgeous stone shower. Most linens from Restoration Hardware. Full-sized washer/dryer. Hot tub and large outdoor eating/entertainment area with gas grill and Big Green Egg. The first guest log cabin (aka The Koop) has a queen bed and a loft (2 twin beds) and stone-walled outdoor shower. The second guest log cabin (aka The Katrina House) is creek-side with a queen bed and a half-bath. The Dinner Barn is creek-side and features a horseshoe pit and eating/seating area, along with a bar, card playing table and darts. Large fire pit adjacent/looks out onto long view of the valley. GaGa ball pit and trampoline. Turniptown Creek runs through the heart of the property, with trout fishing available right from private bridge. Hike up the mountain from front door to secluded out-of-the-way Civil War Cemetery. Wi-fi and cable TV, but property is really for those who want to get away from it all. Very rustic, very beautiful.
Please note: No weddings, no exceptions. It requires special event insurance and a staff person to be present during the event that we do not have, nor do we have any interest in providing. Granted, it's a gorgeous setting for a wedding, but we are saving that option for one of our own children (if they so desire, some day). They should be the first and only ones to be married there. Thanks for your understanding. If you are interested in a wedding venue in the area, check out Deep South Farm.

If you like rustic/historic cabins, this place is for you! This is a really well-put-together collection of cabins on a beautiful piece of property. It's simply beautiful.
How soon can I come back?
The property is beyond anything we could've hoped for. Our only gripe was that we couldn't stay longer but we'll definitely be back! Thank you!
AMAZING - RELAXING - PERFECT
This house is a dream. The property is die for. We came with three families. Their were 7 kids total. We all had comfortable beds and space. The fire-pit was already setup making getting fire started a breeze. The trampoline was a great addition. The three little girls 5, 7 and 10 enjoyed it the most while the boys 5,7, 7 and 10 had wiffle ball games and gaga pit challenges for hours. The kids enjoyed the creek as well.
We loved loved the dinner barn and it made for some amazing pictures. I would highly recommend this amazingly decorated house with beautiful views!!
One of a kind property
Property was fantastic and provided the perfect setting for a memorable cabin getaway.
Fantastic space perfect for a weekend ramble!
I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Luxury, Rustic Charm
Our fall weekend in Ellijay at this property was wonderful! I found the property to be very accurate with how it was represented. My family went with 3 other Mom's and their teenage daughters and we all loved spending time on the property. We cooked all the meals while the kids explored outside and enjoyed S'mores and caramel apples around the fire each night. It was an easy drive to the apple orchards, pumpkin farm and Amicalola State Park. The girls had photography and media projects for school they were working on and this property provided the most amazing opportunities to capture the shots they needed. The cows were at the fence every night and it was fun to see them. This setting is such a nice change from the city and it was so peaceful. Being able to see the stars so brightly at night was a treat! The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels, all the daily necessities were there. We would love to return again!
