About Letitia D Schnobrich
Originally from Illinois, my husband and I live part time in Hestand Kentucky on 253 acres during the summer, and stay in Cape Coral during the winter. Retired teacher and former fleet manager with UPS, we spend our days boating, diving, traveling or Sub teaching in the Cape Coral school district. We have 3 grown children and 1 wonderful granddaughter still living in IL.
Letitia D Schnobrich purchased this Townhome in 2014
Why Letitia D Schnobrich chose Cape Coral
We decided to turn this unit into a vacation rental because it has its own pool and is so close to so much to do. We also like the location because of how close it is to shopping and great restaurants. Originally, we planned on living in it until we could find a house but its location was so popular, renting it was easy! Most rentals are filled quickly in Cape Coral because the town is such a great place to live.

Love living in and at Flip Flops
Really enjoyed our month stay on this property. It is very clean, plenty of room, and beautifully decorated. The location is situated so close to everything that we needed. Many great restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. Cape Coral is so easy to get around in and I am not used to driving in a city. Having our own pool and the spacious lanai was such a plus. The owner was a delight to work with and gave great suggestions for places to go and to eat. We have already booked for next year. Deb & Carol
Miss you gals already! Our weekly chats and updates of your activities, were great! So glad you are coming back next year and are staying again at our little casita! Hopefully, there will be more fun painted palm fronds for you to enjoy!
Absolutely adorable inside!
Chick trip, great time and the home owner was very easy to work with. Absolutely adorbs inside✅
I am so glad you had a great time and I hope you come visit us again and at least meet up at the local hangouts! Sorry you missed the Martini Contest held by the South Cape Hospitality group, it was stupendous! Come see us again! Letitia
Nice Clean Home
This was a nice home , we only stayed 3 nights. The home was decorated very nice and was very clean. We only used the pool once because the homes around us made us uncomfortable. We had said it was too bad that the neighbors homes were so scary, they had insulation in the windows and the one right behind us seemed to be watching us when we were outside. I would advise the owner to install a fence in order to make the home seem more comfortable. This was the only problem, the owner was great, very friendly and helpful!!!
Thank you for the great review, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay and found our unit clean and nicely appointed. We work hard to keep the unit clean and to make sure everything works. I wish I could get the other properties in the area to do the same! The neighborhood is a quiet one and has many other rental properties and some like the unit that is directly behind us, a seasonal rental. We would certainly fence the yard if we could afford it and might in the future if the vacation rental gets booked more often and we eventually have a longer season of booking but for now, it just isn’t in our budget.
Clean and comfortable
This is a nice, clean property with plenty of room for 2-6 people. Most amenities available. A pool and lanai, that we didn't utilize because it was cooler than normal temps. Close to plenty of restaurants, grocery stores etc. Very quiet neighborhood. Letititia is very welcoming, and available to answer questions. Recommend Rumrunners, for a nice dinner out, on the canal, with a beautiful sunset.
Thank you for your wonderful review! The weather was very uncooperative here in January and it was unseasonably cooler than normal. I hope you travel back to our part of the great state of Florida and stay at our unit when the weather is more cooperative. Cape Coral has numerous fun things to do and almost all of them are outside. We look forward to your return visit!
Comfortable, Efficient, Roomy
Wow, we returned from Cape Coral recently and a restful and grand time was had. My wife found the unit online last June. I thought looks cool enough. The swimming pool seemed a little superfluous but I had forgotten what I was like when I was 9 to 14 and could hardly be dragged from any swimming pool. The pool was huge as we brought along our 9 and 14 year old. For the older folks - my wife and I - there was the pleasant and roomy environment, well outfitted kitchen, quiet neighborhood, and walking distance to a nice array of services and sites including an amazing military history museum, sports bar, grocery, and - not least for someone from Seattle - Starbuck's! We needed rest and we got that! All at a reasonable rate.
Thank you for the review! I’m glad you found the unit close to all of the wonderful amenities Cape Coral has to offer and I agree with you on the museum, very cool and very close! We hope your journey returns you to Cape Coral again and you can stay at our rental unit. Cape Coral will have many more adventures for you when you return and enjoy other activities I’m sure you didn’t get around to taking part in. We have had a home here for almost 4 years and we are still exploring. Thank you for your kind review, we truly appreciate it a great deal!
Well situated, quiet, spacious, homey getaway made going out easy, staying in just as much fun.
With 4 adults and an eagerness to try something different, we were really pleased with this well-thought-out home, space enough to be together or apart, kitchen ready for full meals or simply holding snacks, pool and lanai so much more than expected. The walk to the yacht club beach, with its perfect sand and easy-to-swim Gulf waters, took us past burrowing owls (!) and attractive homes; we easily drove out to Sanibel for 2 days in Ding Darling, sunset boat tour with playful dolphins and loads of water birds, and kayaking through dense mangroves; the Corkscrew Swamp boardwalk trail was a treat not only for the baby owls and the lumbering alligators but also for the awesome old growth cypress, many with names. We wished we knew bird calls to help us identify the many varieties in this wonderful sanctuary. We had thought to squeeze in a trip to the Everglades, but decided relaxing at Flip Flops with good friends and good books was just as enjoyable! Thanks for the stay.
I am so glad that you were pleased with this unit! We try our best to have a place that people will enjoy! I did put in a full length mirror like you suggested in your notes you left at the unit. Hopefully, you will be able to enjoy our vacation rental at a later date! Glad to host you and your friends for a relaxing stay! Letitia
There are many activities and festivals during the winter months held by the South Cape Hospitality listed on Facebook. Cape Coral and Fort Myers have many different events each weekend during peak season as well as many parks have festivities.
