About Ann Goldman
Hi there, As a young girl, I have fond memories of visiting my grandmothers' bungalows in the South. I was especially intrigued by the porch swings. My brothers were, too. We had many squabbles over that swing and the front porch glider. Be sure, Catherine's Cottage has its own porch swing. In fact, all nine of my properties have porch swings. My own home has two! That is why I call my collection of rental homes "Porch Swing Boutique Home Rentals". Five of them are now fully furnished for vacation travelers. I have a signature shabby-chic, eclectic style with a hint of coastal. Previous guests sometimes ask me to help them furnish their own homes in that style. As the former art director of a media research company, I really enjoy adding color, and texture to my rooms. I see them as three-dimensional layouts. I also like adding antiques and quirky pieces from salvage yards and consignment shops. My homes are like collections of unique pieces, but still leaving lots of space for my quests to spread out and feel at home. I rent both short term (7-30 days) and long term (6 months and more). I rent my bungalows in Old Northeast to sophisticated renters who appreciate tasteful vintage homes with lots of charm and character. I take special interest in the yards, adding fountains and gardens. People have different rental needs. Some are just ready to escape dismal northern winters. Some are on extended stay business trips. Some visit family and friends here. Some are searching for a home to buy and want to live here a few months to check out the area. Then when the home they want comes on the market, they are ready to put down the first contract. Recently, I had a couple find their forever home by doing just this.

Why Ann Goldman chose Historic Old Northeast
This property, The Winnie Belle, was named after my grandmother. From the street, it looks like a typical 1920 bungalow. Inside it has been opened up with lots of light and bigger spaces. The garage has been attached to the house adding even more space. It is perfect for a large family. Two couples will find total privacy as there are two parts to the home. The front wing has 1 bedrooms, office and a bath and the back wing has a master and an ensuite bathroom. Walk-in closet too! The spacious kitchen is in between.
What makes this house unique
The Winnie Belle is on a quiet residential street, but yet close enough to walk to town. It is the perfect size for a large group . . .family . . . 2 couples or just the occasional guest sleeping over. When you rent, you rent the entire house, yard and garage. The big front porch (with swing) is a perfect spot to relax or enjoy lunch on the bistro table. The charming courtyard off the living room has a wicker loveseat, chairs and coffee table. It is a little garden with fountain. St. Petersburg, Florida keeps getting better. People used to think there was nothing to do in St. Petersburg but sit on the green benches downtown. But now, it is a vibrant, growing city and an exciting tourist destination with lots of charming bungalows! You don't even have to own a place here. I may just have one when you are ready to come.
