Renovated Victorian property with two bedrooms
I have owned Globe House since 2007 when I lived around the corner next to the canal. It's a lovely part of town and in very close proximity to the town centre.
Lisa purchased this Apartment in 2007
Why Lisa chose City Centre
The property has a lot of history, during it's lifetime it has been a publishing house, a pub and a holiday cottage. The property was in dire need of renovation when I bought the property and with a bit of time and a lot of love the pub was converted into two apartments. The ground floor provides a lovely space to stay just a stone's throw from all the hubbub of the town centre.
What makes this Apartment unique
The renovation was done to include some of the old expectations of a Victorian house that can be seen in the bathroom and the feature fireplace in the lounge with a mixture of new with a modern kitchen and en-suite wetroom to the master bedroom.

Beautiful property throughout, just as described
The best of both worlds
The combination of its location, just a few minutes' walk from the town's main attractions (Shakespeare's Birthplace is at the end of the road!), and the quiet, restful confines of the flat is a great one. The property has a light, airy feel, plus all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay – and there's straightforward information on how everything works. There's a decent attempt at making the most of the outside space and having the parking permit is great; though once we'd parked our car we didn't move it again until we left, as Stratford's best is all on your doorstep. A great all-round experience.
Fantastic apartment and in such a great location
Lovely apartment in the centre of town
This is a lovely, clean apartment. From the front door you can see the back of Anne Hathaway's house therefore it is very central. Lisa provides a parking permit so you can leave your car and walk everywhere, without paying a fortune for car parks. It's very well equipped, the beds are comfortable and it's very handy having 2 separate bedrooms. Another bonus is it is very reasonably priced. We highly recommend.
Spacious & warm
Very spacious & modern cottage smack bang in the heart of town.
Beautifully renovated ground floor appartment, a stone's throw from the town.
Beautifully renovated and decorated ground floor appartment with extra added features such as a roll top bath, which makes your stay feel extra special. Perfect accommodation for our family of four. The modern kitchen is well equiped. The apartment was warm and welcoming. Lisa's communication was brilliant. We booked late the night before we wanted to arrive and everything was ready for us. Within a short walk from the main high street with great restaurants, the waterfront and the supermarket for essentials. We would highly recommend the appartment for location, facilities and comfort. Thank you Lisa!
Stratford upon Avon is full of wonder Shakespearian houses to visit including Ann Hathaway Cottage, Mary Ardens House and Shakespeares birth place. Located in the heart of Shakespeare country with access to Warwick, Kenilworth and the Cotswolds all within a short drive. Stratford is a lively tourist town centered around the three famous theaters hosting plays from Shakespeare and other writers throughout the year. The town is situated upon the Avon and you can take a boat ride up and down the river or sit on the bank croft and enjoy the street entertainers. Globe House is a stone's throw from Shakespeare birthplace and the heart of the town which hosts a variety of bars, pubs and restaurants catering for all cuisine.
This property is ideally located to visit Shakespeare's town and all the historic houses associated with that time. As you walk into the street you look onto the back garden of Shakespeare Birthplace, just a stones throw from the town center.
