About Vacasa of Summit County

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!

Perfect Vacation Spot

  • 5 of 5

This home was perfect for us. Clean and pleasantly furnished. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful scenery. Bus stop for free public transportation was steps away and we utilized it the entire time we were there. Highly recommend.

Family vacation at VdK Chalet

  • 4 of 5

Our group of 4 adults enjoyed a comfortable stay at the VdK chalet. The main areas were pleasant and spacious enough for us. The view from the living room out gives you the feeling that you live in the woods. The deck abuts a very pretty natural area. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes which made it easy to eat in. There are two bedrooms on the upper floor. The beds were comfortable. The rooms have privacy curtains but they do not keep the light out. Therefore it is very bright as soon as the sun comes up. The bedroom with the twin beds is in the basement. There is a window but one cannot open this window, and the room does have a basement feel to it.

Family Friendly Location

  • 4 of 5

Family's first Colorado vacation. Wife and 6 kids enjoyed the proximity to the city (shops/restaurants), trailheads, and other Colorado attractions. House was fun with lots of retro touches, including older video/board games. All of the necessary amenities were available, especially in the kitchen. Experienced stormy and clear conditions during the week. Even able to see the Perseid Meteor Shower from the upstairs balcony on our last night.

Only two issues of note. First, this is not a stand alone home. We typically need this for the kids. This location shares a builidng with two other homes. Photos/Description don't clearly indicate that. Second, most notably, we received a 6am wake up call from the constitution workers building 3 homes behind this one. That was a little rough.

Overall, still very satisfied and enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Nice comfortable condo

  • 5 of 5

This was a well appointed condo we used for our ski trip to Breckenridge. The house was clean, had all utensils for eating in. It was spacious with comfortable beds. We had a great stay and the rental agency was responsive and easy to deal with. The shuttle bus stop nearby was an added bonus.
