Very nice home!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Cute, cozy and clean
We (two couples) spent a long weekend at this cute house in November. It's right on the beach with great beach walking in either direction and just a short walk to the pier.
The house is a very welcoming, classic beach house with pine paneling, charming appointments and a smallish but very usable kitchen. There's a hot tub on the deck which was great in November, and an upper deck with lots of chairs and a great view of the beach and ocean (see photo). Comfy beds, 2 big TVs, wifi and really just all the comforts of home. Wood-burning fireplace was wonderful.
The BEST thing about this house for us was that it welcomes pets and yet it is very clean and doesn't have that "every dog in the world has been here" smell. Our dogs romped on the beach for hours and laid down happily near the hearth and just had a ball, as did we. Any complaints would be nit-picky stuff. Holly is an extremely responsive host and was a joy to do business with.
I enjoyed my stay here, the property was small and cozy with a great ocean front view. I didn't have any problems during my stay. I would certainly come back here again.
This house is cozy and clean and the view is fantastic!! The sunrises are absolutely unbelievable. We enjoyed our time there very much.
The house was great!!!
The extra touches welcoming our dog were appreciated; the water dishes inside and out and the extra retractable leash. Upon entering the house, Holly had left a personal note and sun flowers welcoming us!! The beach towels and beach bag were useful in making the beach carting easier. The views from the top balcony were calming and peaceful. Having the morning coffee up there or a cocktail at night were the best. I even used it for sun bathing one day when the sand flies were biting too much. The hot tub was also a pleasant addition to our stay. I needed to contact Holly once during our stay and she was responsive and helpful. There were some things that were dated, for example the sand chairs were in need of replacing, the electric grill's ignition was broken so you need to light it via matches, the kitchen cabinets had latch hook closures 2 of which popped open ALL the time. The other thing that was annoying was that the internet went down 2 days running for no reason and stayed down for over 4 hours each time. This was not under our host's control but was worth mentioning. The house was centrally located and we made excursions to Duck, and Broddie Island as well as to the National Seashore. Holly, thanks for being such a wonderful host.
The home was cute with a great location. Some details were missed by the management company such as there was no toilet paper or paper towels upon our arrival. The owner was very nice, responsive and helpful.
