Lovely, comfortable home in a good location.

  • 5 of 5

We are from New York and have 2 kids attending the University of South Carolina. We came south with our younger two and spent a week vacation at this lovely home. The home was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. There was no part of the house that needed repairs or updates—it was lovely. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to make and serve great meals at the home; the bath had plenty of good towels and wash cloths, and the bed linens were comfortable. The house was conveniently located to the USC campus—it took on average 5-10 minutes to get to the dorms. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and most days took morning runs all around the neighborhood and surrounding area; there was also a nice park a couple of streets away where we went to play a family basketball game. The owners were responsive to our questions before we arrived and were accommodating when we asked if we could arrive 2 hours before check-in. The house comfortably fit 4 of us (sleeping) and 6 of us (plus the kids’ friends) for a few meals. The only change we would make is to add another chair to the livingroom—there was only furniture seating for 4 (the kids lounged on the floor when we were hanging out though so it wasn’t a big problem). We will most definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to any family visiting the Columbia area.

Exactly what we were looking for

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 8 days and it was convenient to everything we needed. A short drive to downtown, shops, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The neighborhood was safe and our location was quiet for the most part (an occasional ambulance driving by on one of the main roads down Forest St. in route to the local hospital but it was rare and did not hinder our stay or rest). Plenty of space and accommodations for my family size of 4. The owners were great and provided everything we needed in the house as well as preparing us for our trip and exploring the surrounding area. This is a very nice home and the stay was well worth the trip. I would stay there again if I had the chance.

Perfect for a Weekend Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My mother, Yorkie and I rented this home in mid December 2017 and greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and the kitchen is well appointed. My mother and I especially liked unwinding at night while watching TV in the den. The bedrooms were cozy with large beds. The neighborhood was quaint and peaceful; we felt very safe and comfortable. I left my Chromecast and the owners were very prompt with my concern and are sending it back. Thanks for everything Kevin and Rebekah!

Sweet & perfect little cottage

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house as a base for my daughter’s U of SC December graduation. This cute little house was a perfect starting point for our schedule. Enough parking for 3 cars. Coffee & breakfast cooked in the well supplied kitchen saved us money & allowed us to casually prepare for the day. Close to everything downtown. This sweet little cottage has lots of privacy, a nice backyard and is located in an adorable neighborhood. You thought of everything - plenty of towels, comfortable seating, etc. Much better than a hotel!

Wonderful little bungalow!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in the cozy bungalow. The photos do not do it justice. The property was spotless, and beautifully decorated. The owners were timely in their communications, and have thought of everything to make sure guests have a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again if we are able to return to Columbia.
