Our host provided everything we could have needed or wanted!

  • 5 of 5

This home is a lovely and charming older home in a beautiful historic Augusta neighborhood. The home was VERY clean. The best part, our host was so considerate of her guests. She provided everything we would have needed, even fresh fruit, snacks, coffee, tea, fresh milk and a breakfast snack for the next morning. No detail was left unaddressed. Beth was wonderful to work with, and flexible with our arrival and checkout times. We will definitely stay here in the future! Thanks, Beth!

Beautiful home with everything you need.

  • 5 of 5

We have loved staying at this property. The house is spacious with loads of character and charm! It is stocked with everything you need for a lengthy stay and Beth, the owner, is wonderful! My three kids enjoyed the house also and our big dog was well contained in the beautiful backyard. I highly recommend staying here!

A wonderful reunion!!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you so much, Beth, for making us feel at home at your beautiful property. Your home is beautiful, charming, warm and inviting. We were celebrating our 19 year old son so it was extra special to have our three generations of family under one roof. The beds were extra comfortable with top of the line sheets and bedding. Important for this tired mom of 4. The boys especially loved your bannana/choc. chip bread. :-) Thank you again for everything. It was a very special time for us. Sincerely, The Tucker Troops

Great Christmas Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We stayed over Christmas and absolutely loved the house. It is very well maintained (something you always worry about when renting) and very well stocked (all towels, linen, etc.). And the house is in a great neighborhood. Everything we better than described. We were visiting family in Augusta and we cooked and had Christmas dinner at the house.

I wish I could give it more stars.

I hope to stay there again real soon.

Southern Hospitality and Southern Comfort-Perfect VRBO Listing

  • 5 of 5

We use VRBO regularly and have stayed at countless VRBO listings all over the world and this was certainly one of the best experiences we have enjoyed. The house was great and the host was gracious, all VRBO owners and homes should strive for this level of quality and we are grateful to have found this gem. The home is very clean, spacious and comfortable and is absolutely fully stocked with all necessities and even more perks you never expect in rentals. The host has thought of EVERYTHING and has defined what Southern Hospitality means. Upon arrival, we found a hand written note from the owner, fresh fruit, treats, bowls and blankets for our dog, juices, milk, locally roasted fresh coffee, numerous teas and the best was a freshly baked Pecan and Chocolate banana bread that was enjoyed by all. The home has anything and everything you could possibly need, it is a true home away from home. All beds were comfortable, linens were nice quality, clean and fresh, towels were plenty, good quality and clean as well. Baths were fully stocked with all necessities and more, there was even a dispenser for common medicines for headaches, heartburn etc... Plenty of soaps, shampoos, and other toiletries. The house was well decorated and appointed. There were collections of movies, books, games, magazines etc...The owner even decorated the house with fresh Christmas plants such as garland and poinsettias which was a nice Southern touch.

We only had one minor issue with the heat but the owner was very responsive and addressed the issue quickly. They are available by cell phone, email and next door so if you have any issues, they jump on it quickly with a courteous response.

The location was very nice and convenient. It is located one of Augusta's nicest and oldest neighborhoods and frankly I am a bit shocked we were able to get a rental house in this neighborhood. Surrey Center and all of the nice restaurants and retail are a quick drive away and it is close to the interstates as well. If you are traveling for business, pleasure or with family, this is an ideal house for couples and groups. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay at a home away from home. Thank you to the owners for opening this home up to us, you all were perfect hosts and all VRBO owners would be wise to take notes from you all. Many thanks!
