See New Orleans in style in this chic apartment located one block from Magazine Street. Magazine Street runs through some of New Orleans' most treasured neighborhoods. While enjoying this sophisticated urban retreat, you can take a casual stroll or a short bus ride to many boutique shops, restaurants, pubs, museums and art galleries. When you are done there, the apartment's convenient location offers easy access to transportation and all that New Orleans has to offer!
We were two adults, and this cozy two bedroom worked out just fine. The location was wonderful. Easy walking access to many restaurants and shops. Close to street car, and Uber’s were usually $8-$10 depending on where we were going. Beautiful homes, beautiful city. I wouldn’t recommend if you have kids - not much room inside to spread out or lounge. Excellent for adults though. If you have any mobility issues, the shower is not easy to get in and out of.
We had no issues. Everything worked well. It was close enough to walk to restaurants and to the grocery store. The unit is on the bottom floor, so you will hear the neighbors upstairs walking around. Only recommendation is if you are going to eat at the apartment, bring your own sharp knives.
This was a beautiful, clean, and spacious apartment that looks even better in person! The apartment is in Garden District and very close to to magazine street and the convention center. Gradie was a wonderful host who made sure to check in on us to see if we had everything we needed. She was super friendly and responsive. I was in New Orleans for a conference with 2 of my colleagues and we all really enjoyed staying here!
The apartment area was easily accessible. It was within walking distance of Magazine Street and 10 minutes from Bourbon Street. The home was clean with nice furnishings. Highly recommend it!
Two of us stayed in the apartment for three nights. It was perfect for us. The two bedrooms were comfortable. The bathtub was glorious! And everything was very clean and well kept. It was very nice to have the kitchen. This unit is tucked away around the side of the building and feels very private.
There are two coffee shops just about a block away. There is great shopping on magazine nearby. There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance or a short Uber ride away, and Frenchmen Street is a 10 or 15 minute Uber away. We never waited longer than three minutes for an Uber at the unit. Everything about our trip was fantastic. We would stay here again.
This was my second visit to New Orleans in the past year and my second stay at this apartment, since we loved it so much the first time around. It is every bit as smartly decorated and clean as the pictures show, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay and feeling of being right at home. The owner, Gradie, was helpful and available if there was anything we needed, which there wasn't. She thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. The location is fantastic, out of the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter, but easily accessible by Uber or streetcar. The Garden District where it is located is just beautiful and made for some lovely walks enjoying the tree lined streets and lovely homes. Magazine Street is 1/2 block away with all kinds of great shops and eateries. We really hated to leave our "home away from home" and hope to be able to visit again in the future.
