Large lawn (lawn furniture, barbeque, bocce ball, croquette, horse shoes, golf pitching/chipping), sand spit. Cable, internet, full shower, wa/dr., dishwasher Turn key ready for your enjoyment. Relax on logs on spit, go for walks. Collect shells, view eagles, blue herons, kingfishers, cormorants. Occasional grey and humpback whales. Swim in Bay, bring your kayak, crab off of your front lawn in season, or enjoy the nearby world class Tulalip Resort and Casino, Seattle Premium Outlet Mall, the Hilbub Cultural Center, Historic Shaker Church and numerous nearby golf courses. Enjoy the Pike Place Market, Boeing's Museum of Future Flight, Paul Allen's Aviation Museum, go for a ferry boat ride to/through the San Juans or to Victoria, British Columbia, climb Mt. Third generation resident on this point which makes the southernmost lip of Tulalip Bay. Seattle Native raised in Palos Verdes, CA. Father of 3 great kids who attended Tulalip Elementry School across the Bay and 2 wonderful grandkids. MA in Literature, JD retired. Live near property with onsite (house next door) manager.

Assessor tells me he thinks this is the most beautiful property in Snohomish County. No bank, no train tracks, no ferry line. Close to Seattle (45 min.) sights like SAM or the Pike Place Market or departure port for Victoria Clipper hydrofoil. Hang out on the water swimming, crabbing (in season), fishing, bring your kayak or canoe, your bike, or hike in Cascades, golf at nearby Championship Courses (Kayak 10 miles, Battle Creek 4 miles, Legion Memorial 10 miles, Cedar Crest 10 miles). Tulalip Resort Hotel (7 miles) has gaming, fabulous restaurants, an amphitheater, Seattle Premium Outlet Mall. Boeing's Museum of Future Flight (one of our state's top attractions) is 28 minutes away. Cabellas (8 miles). But really, just stay right here and enjoy all that the property offers. We have a huge lawn for bocce ball, horse shoes, croquet, practicing your golf chip or pitch, badminton. Scrabble, bananagrams, boggle, board games, cribbage are all available.

What makes this cabin unique

In the midst of nature. I saw a humpback whale, several Dahl's porpoises while crabbing within one mile of here yesterday (August 15th). Active bald eagles nest (best viewing March through early July although eagles are around all year.) 500' away. Crabbing (dungeness season generally from just before July 4th until just after Labor day--last year there was a fall reopening) is very good in front of cabin. Grey whales pass by property in April, May, June. The Tulalip Tribes cultural history (Hilbub Cultural Center is world class) and continued traditions (hoop dancing, canoe racing, young people's canoe journey) are evident around you today.

The house was great and the location is beautiful.

Everything about our stay was great. It was as advertised. We all had a great time. Loved seeing all the wildlife, seals, ducks, geese, the eagle, and two grey whales. We wished we could have stayed longer. Vickie was super helpful and responsive to whatever we needed. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

This property was beautiful and welcoming. A bank of windows looked out onto the sound. We saw whales, sea lions and a multiple kinds of birds. The beach was a great place for the kids to explore. The beds were comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. We will definitely book here again!

A Family Experience

We stayed at my husband's cottage/cabin that had been his grandfathers home for many years.. It was nice to revisit the cabin and location( which is awesome) with 160-200 ft. of waterfront property. Unfortunately, the property needs many repairs- but we still enjoyed the ambiance of the location and time spent with family..

Beautiful view with bonus seals

Very spacious. Ductless ac/heating units kept it perfectly comfortable day and night. Roomy kitchen with convection oven made for perfect pizzas! Plenty of room in the fridge as well. Wonderful sunsets and a short walk to the spit. Short drive to the outlet mall and casino. Only complaint is the wifi was spotty at best, kicked off often. Not sure if there are two routers fighting for signal or what but you really dont need your phone or laptop at this oasis.. Just go outside and watch the seals play! Also don't forget to look up. There's a bald eagle that likes to perch in the trees overhead.

We did have a pair of large Akita dogs wander into the yard off leash. Not sure if its a common occurence or not, but we had a small altercation..

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments. We have switched to a higher speed internet connection. Manager (Vickie next door) has not seen dogs before or since--very sorry that you had that disturbance. I also reside nearby and have checked with neighbors--I suspect they were accompanying one of the seasonal gill netting fishermen. Dall's porpoises off left in front of cabin today. Owner

Pretty good overall.

We really enjoyed our time at the house. It was quiet with a beautiful view. The only downside was the shower. It definitely needs some work done on it. Vickie was delightful and we hope to book it again.

This rustic cabin property has two cabins. Cabin 2 is 2012 square feet with 3 bedrooms (this listing), large lawn, no bank, expansive Sound and sunset views. Cabin 1 is 480 square feet with 1 bedroom and a large deck and large lawn with no bank waterfront and views of Tulalip Bay from most rooms. The property forms the southwestern tip of Tulalip Bay. Bald eagle's nest within 500', sand spit, crabbing in season, swimming, kayaking (bring yours please), lawn sports (croquet, bocce ball, horse shoes, golf ball pitching/chipping, etc.). Beautiful sunsets from deck and lawn. Beautiful Bay views from living room Lawn furniture, picnic tables, beach fire pit . The nearby Hilbulb Museum/ Cultural center (5 miles) is a significant cultural center with programs and exhibits about the Coast Salish tribes that make up the Tulalip Tribes, Inc.. The Tulalip Resort Casino is world-class including three highly regarded restaurants , an amphitheater, and a Seattle Premium Outlet Mall, gaming. Cabellas, Olive tree Restaurant, Applebees near Casino. Ferry to/through the San Juan Islands 1 1/4 hour drive away. Boeing's Museum of Future Flight and Paul Allen's (of Microsoft) airplane museum are within a 30 minute drive.
