Relax and rejuvenate in the tranquility of this unique townhouse in Keauhou Resort. Located in a quiet area just south of Kailua-Kona, Keauhou Resort is nestled among a five acre tropical garden. This one bedroom, one bath unit sleeps 3-4 people.

The living area has a queen size sofa sleeper, dining area for four, and the kitchen, fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher and side by side refrigerator with Corian counters are located on the upper floor. Enjoy the distant ocean views from the large lanai while sipping a cup of Kona Coffee. The bedroom is located on the lower floor with a California king bed. The newly remodeled bathroom with laundry facilities is located next to the bedroom. The lanai on this level creates a private area to unwind and relax.

Relax while enjoying distant ocean views from both the lanais. An electric BBQ grill is also on the lanai. There are two saltwater swimming pools located among the tropical gardens for you to enjoy. Soak up the sun or relax in the shade with a good book. Or enjoy the picnic area of the common grounds.

The Keauhou Resort is well situated adjacent to the Kona Country Club, a spectacular public golf course with amazing ocean views. An ideal location in walking distance from the Keauhou Shopping Center where you can find groceries, restaurants (Sam Choy’s, Kenichi Pacific, and Bianelli Pizza to name a few), gift shops, a gas station, a movie theater, post office and other amenities. On Friday’s the shopping center features many daytime activities such as lei making, ukulele lessons, and a Hawaiian show at 6:00pm.

An eighth of a mile down the road is the beautiful Keauhou Bay offering great ocean access. This is also where you can find scuba diving, fishing charters, kayak and snorkeling tours, volleyball, picnicking and fishing. Just a mile north towards Kailua Kona down you will find Kahalu’u Beach State Park, famous for its encounters with the graceful green Hawaiian Sea Turtles.

If you are seeking local markets and historical context, downtown Kailua-Kona is approximately a 10 minute drive for easy access to shopping, businesses, waterfront restaurants and hotels. Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Pier. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out on the many beautiful beaches.

Up the coast is a busy marina with Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching and other ocean activities. Ali'i Makai is conveniently located, a great home base to explore the many wonders of the Big Island including Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!

We came here for our Honeymoon, the atmosphere here put us in such a relaxed state and enhanced the romance. We first stayed in Honolulu which was beautiful but just didn't compare to this little piece of Heaven.

Would stay here again! Loved it!

We've stayed in VRBO properties domestically and abroad and this is definitely a Top 3 favorite! The property was well-maintained, very clean but most of all, they provide almost EVERYTHING you can need for your stay. We took advantage of the snorkel gear and ice chest one day. Our visit was short but since we had a full kitchen, we stayed in and cooked dinner one night. We couldn't have been happier with this property. With the split level, it made it feel very spacious. And there's a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. Walking distance to a shopping center with a market and restaurants.

Also, your property management group was great. We stayed in a property in North Shore prior to this and although the property was decent, the property management group soured our opinion of our stay. So the entire process of booking, questions, stay and departure were seamless.

Thank you for the lovely stay! If we make it back to Kona, we hope to stay with you again! Would definitely recommend it for others. Note: there were only 2 of us. Unit is spacious but with only 1 bathroom downstairs, could be crammed for 4 adults (in my opinion), would recommend for 2 adults + 1 child at most.

The condo was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon at! The condo provided us with a cozy and safe place to relax during Hurricane Lane’s appearance. We were very impressed with all of the amenities provided at the condo. We definitely took advantage of the beach towels, beach chairs, and snorkeling gear! I would definitely recommend this condo to any couple traveling to the Big Island!

Our stay was for 14 days, we had everything that we needed to make our vacation comfortable. The kitchen is great, there is a little electric grill on the lanai that’s convenient and good for grilling. The lanai’s are very comfortable, we enjoyed many meals out there. The property owners as well as the management company were both very easy to work with, it’s a great place to stay to explore the big island.

The pictures online here do not lie! It is even better in person. We were so impressed with how nice and clean this condo was. I really appreciated having access to the washer and dryer. The unit was stocked with everything we could have needed. We made use of the snorkel and beach gear, it was so nice not to have to pack all of that with us. I would definitely and most likely will stay here again!
