Comfortable and great for a family stay
We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The space was wonderful for our extended visit to the Washington D.C. area. There are two living spaces (one on the main level and one in the basement) which allowed for the kids and the adults to each have their own spaces for TV viewing. The couch in the basement folds out to a futon style bed. This added space for sleeping resolved a concern about kids sharing spaces. The unit was perfectly situated for a family with small children- a high chair, step stool and port a crib were nice surprises that made the trip easier than we anticipated. We made good use of the backyard area when the kids wanted to run around and play. The location was also very much enjoyed. Nice neighborhood. Convenient to highways for getting around. Located near many great restaurants and stores. Make sure you take a morning to go get Duck Donuts over on Harrison! Also, Barton Park on 10th was a great break for the kids in our schedule of sight seeing. Overall, great stay. The only complaint is that the floors have no sound barrier so if there is a renter in the upstairs unit, the sound definitely travels down. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
Very clean and new, great off-street parking. Loved the heated bathroom floors.
Not as close to metro, 1.8 miles, as expected. Well appointed and furnished. Entering home was a little confusing to me, a senior. Pillows were too firm for my taste. Good neighborhood. Nice eating places available.
