My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bill’s little piece of paradise. Such a cozy environment very nicely decorated. Bill was a pleasure to work with and had the place well stock. Would definitely stay again when in Memphis.
Wow what a house
Stayed in many vrbo over the years, but this house takes the cake. You can feel the pride that bill has put into the house and all the great furnishings, and wow what a beautiful outdoor area. So very comfortable and super clean. He has provided everything one needs for a stay. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush. You will not be disappointed. Wish I could give it more stars.
Exceeded all expectations!
What a Midtown gem! Great location, plenty of room, delightfully decorated, well stocked bathrooms and kitchen, easy access to all that Memphis has to offer. Bill was a gracious host and I highly recommend his lovely home!
Loved staying here. Would definitely stay again!
We frequently rent VRBO’s and Bill’s home ranks amongst the best of any we have rented so far. The house is very clean, well stocked and well maintained. The decorations in the house and in the garden are fascinating, almost like being in a museum! Most importantly, the beds are comfortable and coffee was provided. The fridge was stocked with fresh OJ and a few other breakfast items which was a very nice and totally unexpected bonus!
Great home, gracious host
Front and especially the back yard were a10. Art work through out the place was exceptional. Amenities in the kitchen were an extra big plus. Enjoyed meeting Bill. Very gracious host.
Having grown up in Memphis, I know the areas all over town. And as a newlywed, I'm breaking my 70-something husband into the "Southern Charm and Gracious Ways". He's eagerly absorbing it, and staying in the Evergreen area of Overton Park was the perfect choice. The home could not be better furnished for everything a guest would want to do! The hosts had thought everything out! The fridge had butter, english muffins and fresh squeezed orange juice. The artwork and furnishings in the home were very eclectic from the light whimsical to the deep Southern Charm of antique silver, crystal, and antique oriental rugs. Everything was immaculate. The private patio and gardens were calming and cozy. The owners either hired, or are, outstanding decorators with an eye for lighting, style and color. The neighborhood felt very safe. There were people out constantly walking, riding, and jogging. There's no question that going forward we're not to be staying at the Peabody, but here.
