A Home amongst the Gum Trees!
Bridgetown House was built in 1907 & has been completely restored to its former glory, consisting of 3 double bedrooms, a King size red room, a Queen size green room & another Queen size blue room.
The beautiful self contained home has two separate living areas, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, laundry with washer & dryer, mini-library with a selection of new release DVDs, books & board games, slow combustion wood fires, heaters in each bedroom, wrap around verandahs, with an abundance of bird life amongst an orchard of fruit trees & mature Camellias, set on 1.5 acres of land and just a stones throw from town.
Perfect if you are looking for a romantic get-away for two or somewhere to unwind with friends or family.
All linen is provided, including towels, bath mats & even soaps for each guest & as it does get cold down there, we have 2 wood fires in the house, all wood is provided & there are heaters & electric blankets in all bedrooms & we also have an air-conditioner in the lounge area & fans in all bedrooms for the warmer nights.
**There is a Nespresso Coffee machine provided on a BYO pod basis** There is also an Espresso coffee machine along with a kettle & coffee making facilities; Tea, coffee & sugar are provided.
**We now have Ponies on our Paddock** Walking distance to town, sleeps 6 very comfortably & pets are considered by arrangement.
We are so very lucky to be surrounded by farm animals on every side being that we are so close to town... friendly ponies on the paddock, beautiful horses to the left & across the road and an Alpaca farm just 2 doors up.
Not to mention the possums in the trees & an abundance of bird life all year round. The property feels somewhat rural yet you are only a stones throw from town & there's plenty of hammock time on the verandahs, which I'm sure you will find VERY relaxing
Wake to the sound of birds chirping and the wind rustling through the giant native trees as you let the stresses of the world pass you by.
Enjoy a glass of wine on the verandah or take time out in front of one of the fireplaces & we have just recently created a 2nd outdoor entertaining area out under the trees that overlooks our new residents 'Trojan & The Lady' & our neighbours are beautiful horses that don't mind being fed an apple or two off the tree.
With the new freeway shortening your trip from Perth, it is too easy to make your way to the historic town of Bridgetown.
Bridgetown House is 107 years new & was the main house for the old orchard. We currently have at least 10 of these trees still producing fruit.
Our Mini Orchard comprises of the following fruit trees & when fruiting please feel free to help yourself!!!
- 2 Peach Trees
Wood is supplied for the fire places along with tea & coffee.

Very comfortable and relaxing
We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Bridgetown House during the school holidays. The house was very well appointed making for a really comfortable stay. Although it wasn't too chilly when we were there it was well equipped to cope with the cold. Each bedroom had an electric blanket plus there were heaters in every room. The kids loved spending time exploring outdoors as well as socialising with the cute ponies. Everything was nice and clean and the house was well located, being just a short distance from town.
Relaxing freedom and warm comfort with the happiness of wildlife all around us
Relaxing return to the bush wildlife that I grew up with. Lots of freedom for our kids and many wonderful smells for our beagle Winston! A comforting and cosy fire that we roasted marshmallows on. Comfortable beds and lots of play space. Thanks so much.
Great Stay, felt at home.
Nice vintage house, well kept
We were so impressed by this property. The house easily accommodated our family of 5 and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The surrounding grounds were full of beautiful birds and we had a few visits from a blue wren. Easy access to town but blissfully quiet at night . Jan 2018

We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful but cosy and a real home from home. Definitely looking forward to returning!
