This clean and bright West Asheville efficiency HOMESTAY is a convenient 2 minute drive to downtown Asheville or Haywood Road, West Asheville; close to breweries, music venues and amazing restaurants.
Located in a cozy and well kept older home (110 years old!), the apartment is a fully furnished bedroom (queen size bed), small kitchen and bath, with linens and towels provided and high speed wireless internet.
The best thing about this home is the location. You can see the downtown Asheville skyline from the side deck (more in winter when leaves are down), but the back yard feels woodsy with tons of birds, cicadas at night and lightning bugs in the summer. In the winter, less green, but a nicer view of the lights downtown! You can drive in about one minute to the Earthfare grocery store, a drugstore, deli and other amenities, or to Haywood Road, the main drag through West Asheville. We are on the same street as Shambala center and the Asheville School of Holistic Herbalism.

About owner/property manager
I love living so close to downtown Asheville, for all the great restaurants, live music and dancing. I am a musician myself so I often play at jams with friends around town. I also enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking, and driving the blue ridge parkway. I grew up in New York State, so the Appalachian Mountains remind me of home!
What makes this Apartment unique
My guests love the location, just a quick drive or Uber ride to downtown (less than 5 minutes), and you can walk to the New Belgium Brewery out the back door in a few minutes.

Small, quaint, and clean
We throughly enjoyed our time! Everything was clean and bright. Centrally located to breweries and restaurants. The only recommendation we have is to add a curtain to the door. While we are early risers, but getting up with the sun was a little too early. We will come again!
Good location, comfy bed, good water pressure in shower, small but efficient accommodations. Only recommendation is to add a microwave for quickly heating frozen dinners, etc.
Great Location and Very Comfotable!
This apartment is small but well maintained. Everything you need! A comfortable bed, great bathroom, nice kitchen. Great location. Close to downtown; but just enough out of the way from all the traffic. Love this place. We will for sure be back.
Close to downtown Asheville, in a cute neighborhood.
This space has a lovely outdoor porch which overlooks a great yard. Access is a bit hard for mature folks with lawn & stone steps to the entrance, which has more steps to the porch. The rooms are workable, probably best for one person. The quilt & pillow covers looked old. The bed was comfortable, better pillows would make it more so. Bathroom was clean & bright. Kitchen is compact and has all the necessities.
Overall an okay place.
I do try to explain the access/entrance in detail in the description and I mention who it may not be appropriate for. This space is really best for a couple as it is a queen size shared bed, or a single person as mentioned. Many couples have stayed very comfortably. The quilt and pillow covers were hand-dyed organic cotton which explains the coloration that may have made them look 'old'. I was surprised to find them shoved under the bed on the floor. I understand that this was not the ideal location for this guest, but I also felt like they treated the home more like a hotel room than someone's home, as the place was left messier than many of the guests I've hosted in the past (over 200 guests through another hosting site, with a 5 star rating). Any guest that is not satisfied with the space, for example the pillows, can let me know, and I am happy to rectify the situation within hours.
A perfect, cozy spot for our weekend in Asheville
Breccia's adorable place was so perfect for our weekend. From the quaintness of the actual place, to the beautiful deck with the view; it was perfect. The location is great. a quick $5-7 dollar uber fair into downtown, or walking distance to great unique spots for dinner and coffee shops for breakfast (Battle Cat was great for coffee). Breccia checked in via text multiple times just making sure we had what we needed, right now to if we needed suggestions for what to do in Asheville. A great find indeed and highly recommended.
