About Leelee James
I live in Broken Hill having moved here in September 2007. I moved from Sydney and had been there 10 years having moved around a lot for my career. Overall I've lived in the country and city, was born in Broken Hill but the family moved away when I was 2! This is my first opportunity to enjoy it.
Leelee James purchased this House in 2005
Why Leelee James chose Broken Hill
I bought this as an investment property while I lived in Sydney. I moved in when I relocated to Broken Hill in 2007. It was very colourful then with a yellow kitchen! I loved it but had to make it a little more conformist for guest tastes. I moved from the house and rented it - much to my disappointment it was damaged and needed to be repaired, painted etc. I have furnished it with comfortable stuff from my home including a beautiful timber dining table and high back chairs as well as comfy lounges. The beds are fantastic. While I love this property the repairs take a while due to the bookings - getting tradies and vacancies lined up is very tricky.
What makes this House unique

Heating provided by wood fire (bring your own wood) or split system. The open plan living is bright and airy with comfortable lounge furnishings and flat screen TV - selection of DVDs.

Awesome place to stay
Very impressed. We could only stay for one night & would have loved to stay longer. Very well set up house with everything you could need ( ice, good assortment of bowls, dip trays, etc. even had glad wrap, alfoil, Dvd's, games) The pool was really appreciated as the day was 37 degrees. We will be back.
Great overnight stop
Great place to stay overnight on way through to Dubbo. Clean, well furnished and comfortable and good size for the 3 of us. Great to all be able to have our own room. Would definitely recommend and would stay again when passing through. Communication with host was easy and The Palace hotel which she recommended was great for my coeliac son as GF menu was extensive and food lovely.
Clean and quirky house in Broken Hill
Typical, quirky Broken Hill home. Comfortable and well located. Back garden was great to sit out in after sight seeing or to have breakfast. Stayed 2 nights here and didn't eat in but kitchen seemed well equipped. Don't come expecting 5 star accommodation with bells and whistles and you won't be disappointed. It's as described and great pet friendly abode for a short stay. We loved Broken Hill.
Clean and Cozy
We had a fabulous night in this house. Had the perfect amount of sleeping spaces and heaters!! We kept commenting how the house looked like it came out of a target catalogue, it was so cute. With board games, movies and a selection of teas to choose from, we were upset we couldn’t stay longer!
Lovely house, was a great stay
Enjoyed our stay here, was very clean, had everything we needed and booking was easy. Would definitely stay again.
Nice and bright decor, great fire place.
